🐨: Right now, honestly, regarding all the members... one of the things I think is our current strength and weakness—well, actually, it’s a strength—is that all the members are very careful. They are very considerate of one another. Because nobody wants to break this huge... this huge and very close relationship, everyone is extremely cautious. If a member expresses that they dislike something even a little bit, everyone tends to try and respect that. 🐨: But the problem is, because of that, we can never narrow things down to just one decision. Like, maybe two people don't want to do something, four people think it’s fine, and one person doesn’t really care and says they'll just go along with whatever the others choose. 🐨: Because of this, even before getting discharged from the military, I had a hunch that the entire process—from making the album, releasing it, putting on concerts, and doing the tour—would start and end with how we make these decisions. And that hunch was right, in the end. So, out of the tracks we had from that pre-session, we weeded a few out…

🐨: Because I'm not... you know, I've always been someone who isn't the best at dancing. So, because I really wanted to do well with the choreography for ‘2.0’, I would always arrive an hour before our dance lessons started to practice by myself first. And then after the lessons ended, I’d stay behind for another 30 minutes to practice more for ‘2.0’ 🐨: Because whenever I watched Jungkook, Jimin, Hoseok, and Taehyung, I'd think, 'Ah, I really don't want to drag them down.' I wanted to execute the vibe coolly just like them, especially since I have years of experience under my belt too. So I always watched them, analyzed their movements, and analyzed the professional dancers. 🐨: Anyway, it's a song that holds a lot of memories. And so many people showed a lot of love for the music video, too. I think it was a really meaningful song that allowed us to step forward into something new while still keeping an essence that feels authentically like us. I'm also really grateful to Mikey, Charles, Jungkook, Hobi, and Taehyung for this song.

🐨: The song 'Body to Body' was originally supposed to be titled 'Body on Body.' If I remember correctly, it was a song with a very sexual nuance, like 'I need somebody on body.' You get the general vibe…bodies overlapping and all that. So it was a pretty sensual song. 🐨: Of course, it's not like we can't do sexual songs anymore; after all, we are in our 30s now. However, I just felt that putting out a highly sexual song right now without a clear reason wasn't the right direction for us. 🐨: So, I thought about 'Hand in Hand'—the theme song for the 1988 Seoul Olympics by Koreana…and shifted the concept to 'Body to Body,' playing on the idea of holding onto each other's bodies instead of just hands. I really wanted it to become an anthem. 🐨: There was a lot of debate in the documentary about whether or not we should include 'Arirang' (to sample the folk song). Since some of the context was edited out, it might look a bit sudden, but after listening to it for the third time, I finally understood the reasoning behind it. 🐨: We had been listening to the version without 'Arirang' for a long time, so when it was first added, it felt a bit unfamiliar. Some people might even look at it and think, 'Isn't this trying too hard to push forced Korean patriotism (Gukbong)?' To be fair, that's a perfectly valid perspective. 🐨: But ultimately, when you think about it in the context of live concerts, that part hits differently. Seeing so many international fans waiting for that exact moment and singing along to a traditional Korean folk song perfectly... that is not a scene you can just artificially manufacture or stage. 🐨: I actually really like the GIF of that moment. J-Hope is dancing and grooving excitedly right next to me, while I'm standing there looking deeply serious and thinking to myself, 'Oh man, this is huge. We might be in trouble.'

🐥: Honestly, back then... well, Hoseok-hyung and I talked about this just the two of us, but I got really emotional and surprised. I don't know what it is, but... 🐨: My tears were welling up. 🐥: Yeah, holding our national flag and having them sing Arirang for us... I don't know why, but it really hits you. I'm so thankful. 🐱: Everywhere you go, seeing the Korean flag is just crazy. It's wild, it feels unreal. 🐨: Our ancestors would be proud. 🐿️: Yesterday, during Diplo's set... 🐨: Yeah, I saw you out on the floor. 🐿️: I was watching from the floor, and our fans were holding up the Korean flag and those traditional fans (buche). 🐹: A lot of people brought those traditional fans. 🐥: Just seeing them hold up our flag... it makes you feel a certain way. It's hard to describe. 🐨: It's fascinating. 🐹: There were so many people wearing Hanbok, too. I saw them everywhere. And people dressed up like aliens, too! 🐿️: True, true. And people wearing masks of Namjoon’s face from the Persona trailer. 🐿️: Man, there's a lot of creative stuff lately. And what was it? That one outfit from our old fan meeting... the striped red kids' clothes? 🐰: Ah, yeah, yeah! 🐨: There are so many people dressing up like that. I really think love is amazing.

🐹: I feel a bit regretful while performing. I want to interact more with the fans. 🐨: Honestly, I want to do that too. Crowd surfing! 🐹: What’s that? 🐨: Just jumping into the crowd! [mimes jumping and being passed along] And then they send you back. You know what I mean? 🐹: I don’t think we should do that. 🐨: Jin doesn’t really like scary things. 🐹: It’s not about being scared. I want to interact with the fans, but as idols, if we do that, videos will circulate, and then more people will want to do it. So, I have to grit my teeth and not look at the people next to me, just looking at the camera or the ground. I’m sorry, but we shouldn’t do it. 🐨: Since we shouldn’t do it, you should go down at the first sound check. 🐹: Oh, the first performance? 🐨: Yeah, the first performance. 🐹: You shouldn’t go down then. Because when I did the solo tour, I did that. I thought it would be fine, but the culture has changed a lot in a few months. 🐨: Oh, really? Yeah, I want to do things like that too. But anyway, safety is the top priority, isn’t it? 🐨: But our fans are so orderly and follow the rules so well. 🐹: There are no accidents at all. 🐨: None.

🐨: Since each of us had been doing so many different genres and so many different things for over ten years, the goals or direction each of us envisioned were different. And it wasn't just us—the fanbases' thoughts were different, the thoughts of the members here were different, and the thoughts of the representatives from the relevant departments were all different too. 🐨: There was just no narrowing it down. Personally, the hardest part for me was that there wasn't a clear "captain" this time. A leader or a boss who could firmly pull things forward and declare, "This is right" or "That is wrong." But given the situation, it was really difficult for that to happen. 🐨: So, it was very tough. To be honest, we ended up making this album without having a set path beforehand. Because of that, when the album came out, I completely expected that opinions would be divided…starting with the title track itself. 🐨: But as a player participating in this, I honestly think it's a miracle that this album even came out at all. The very fact that it was released feels like a miracle to me. Whether people feel it's lacking, whether there's mixed reception, or if people don't like it…the fact that we came back together here, released a studio album as promised, and are carrying out performances and a tour again... 🐨: Of course, this and that might be disappointing; everything has its shortcomings. I feel those shortcomings too. But really, for us to make it through without a single member dropping out, without anyone getting sick, or without anyone creating an issue... safely. 🐨: And now, thanks to all of you, our scale has grown so much. If we don't plan the scheduling for making an album and managing it at least a year to a year and a half in advance, we can't even move forward. That's because so many people move together with us. It's not a situation where we can just say, "Hey, let's do it this way and make it happen." It just didn't work like that. 🐨: So it was a project that was incredibly, incredibly difficult to make. If there's a sense of disappointment or something along those lines that you all are feeling, it's probably due to the lack of a strong central focal point, or a "captain." I think that's what it is. 🐨: But it couldn't be helped, and we had to release this so that when we gather together again someday to create something, we can move past this—even if it feels somewhat disorganized and mixed with so many different elements.

🐨: Our Yoongi hyung worked so hard on his running. 🐻: Yeah, he’s really into it these days. 🐥: You know how he is—once he gets into something, he just goes all out. 🐿️: He really does. Out of nowhere, he was like, I think I need to lose some weight. So he started dieting a lot and exercising. He was running so much. When we were working out, he was always there. 🐻: He was doing bench presses with 10kg, 10kg, and it looked so light for him. 🐨: But since he was running so much, Yoongi hyung said he wanted to run a marathon. 🐥: And he did go, right? 🐨: Yeah, he actually went and did it. 🐿️: And on the day of the concert— 🐨: On the actual day! 🐿️: Yeah, on the day of the concert, in the morning, he woke up at 6:00 AM. Apparently, there was a really famous marathon happening around that area. So he went to do it, and it was over 10km... 🐨: It was 12km.

🐿️: You're reading things that aren't there 🐥: Yoongi, your butt was sexy today. 🐱: (Sighs deeply) Ah... 🐥: “Jungkook, Seokjin, stop touching your underwear.” 🐥: It literally says right here, 'Jungkook, Seokjin, stop touching your underwear.' 🐰: People are going to misunderstand. 🐹: He kept pulling my underwear up to here, turning me into a wrestler! It's driving me crazy! 🐥: It's in full bloom. 🐻: But it's the same for you, too. 🐰: Yeah, you do it to me too. 🐹: It's fun, isn't it?

🐻: Okay... Since we are friends, from now on, I’m going to speak to you casually, okay? Casual speech... okay? Sorry, is it okay? It’s fine to speak casually, right? 🐻: Yesterday, I ate some ramen and I also ate some wagyu! Oh, and if there is a restaurant in Japan that you think I absolutely must go to, or a jazz bar that is really fun... please send me a message! Then, I will make sure to become a regular customer there. 🐻: Also, I really love Japan, so I’ve been studying Japanese by watching dramas. I’m going to find a new drama and study some more before I come back. And now... please reject me. ARMY... will you date me? Please reject me!

🐿️: But this time, it was quite interesting. We always do special songs, don't we? 🐱: Man, 'Baepsae'. 'Baepsae' was just too much today. I thought everything was going to fall apart. 🐿️: Even 'Baepsae' got a much better reaction than I expected. Why do they like it so much? 🐥: 'Baepsae' is just... why do they like it so much? 🐿️: 'Pied Piper' was almost on another level. 🐻: Exactly. It’s like we’re the 'Baepsae'. 🐱: No, really, when 'Pied Piper' came on and I was looking at the front, some people were about to faint. Like, "Aaaaaah!" (mimicking the fans). 🐥: No, but seriously, it was like they were being electrocuted! "Aaaaaah!" Truly! 🐱: But it was from the front to the left. The people on the left were like, "Aaaaaah!"

🐨: These days, Jungkook seems to be working out all day. 🐹: His workout routine is really amazing. 🐨: Jungkook works out for two hours after he finishes a performance. 🐹: And he gets up in the morning and does cardio for another hour. He does cardio and strength training separately. 🐨: I guess you have to do that much. If the rest of us worked out that much, we'd get hurt. Our bodies wouldn't be able to handle it. 🐹: Still, five or six of us meet at the gym every day. 🐨: Oh, we always do. We always work out, but I don't think I can keep up with Jungkook. If I did that, I would have been hurt long ago. 🐹: He's really amazing. You know the screen that appears on the treadmill? He spends an hour and a half just looking at that. He doesn't even watch YouTube or anything. 🐻: Jungkook really doesn't watch anything. 🐹: He really doesn't watch anything. Just looking at the treadmill screen for an hour and a half is the most amazing thing. 🐨: Instead, he listens to his favorite anime songs on his headphones. Like the opening themes. 🐨: And what about Yoongi? It seems like Yoongi plays the guitar all day. 🐹: He's an amazing musician. 🐨: Yoongi plays the guitar, and the other five of us play pickleball and stuff, right? 🐹: Yeah, pickleball.

🐥: It's a bit surreal because there are so many fans... 🐹: ...It's like a movie. 🐥: What should I say? When I play console games, people gathered in the stadium... it feels like the ARMY who made that reality. 🐹: That was the most touching moment for me, actually. Arirang is a folk song like this in Korea. But when international fans sing along loudly for me, I was wondering if this was really possible. I'm always touched by that. 🐿️: I did get a lot of goosebumps (national pride). 🐹: Following Arirang, which started again in Mexico... 🐿️: I acknowledged it. 🐱: And the second round. 🐹: And the fans followed along...

🐨: Okay, everyone. First of all, it took a long time, so truly, thank you for waiting for us, for your support, and for coming to see us. *full bow* 🙇♂️ Truly, from the bottom of my heart, thank you. I'm so grateful for everything. 🐨: And if it was the old days…It's exciting! Everyone, you really are the best. We came up with new songs titled ‘2.0’ and all, and also craved for a lot of new changes, and got to show you new things. But the important thing hasn't changed. 🐨: The important thing is that the seven of us all have decided to do this, together. Also, the other one is... and yes... the important thing is that we truly think about you with our sincerity. 🐨: We never take it for granted for you filling this venue, we will keep on with that mindset. You know, I was 15 when I first met Jungkook, and now I'm 30. Jin-hyung was 20, and now he's 35. We are all over 30 now. 🐨: As individuals, and as people who've worked together for around 15 years, we've decided on this one thing for sure. I hope you all trust us and keep watching us. And I hope you keep having fun with us. Please trust us one more time. Truly, thank you. And I love you. Thank you very much!

👤: A big moment on the album, "they don’t know ‘bout us." Uh, so great, tell me about your involvement in that. 🐥: RM and I were talking one night after work, and the phrase came out of that conversation. The initial wording was actually “you make me weak,” because that's what I wanted to tell the fans. 🐥: You shape us, you always treat us like we’re such amazing people, but because of that, we don’t have room for growth. I wanted to try expressing that feeling that they might be making us weak. 🐥: And “they don’t know ‘bout us” came out of that discussion, initially. Since then, it’s expanded to include our other members’ thoughts in there, but in the beginning, it came from the idea that nobody knows how weak we are. That’s how the idea evolved, from “you make me weak.”

Master-level Teasing Toward Namjoon: 🐰: Let's send Namjoon to school. 🐹: No, Namjoon's should be something like boxing against a professional boxer and fight until he wins. 🐱: So you’re basically telling him to die. 🐹: What? 🐱: You’re telling him to get beaten to death. 🐹: He could win, though! 🐨: If you don't want me in the group anymore just say so. 🐹: No, you can win. 🐱: No, there's no way he can win. 🐥: Fight until he wins? 🐹: Fight until he wins. 🐻: I think for Namjoon, a chance for him to overcome a trauma would be nice. Like sleeping in the same room with all seven of us. 🐹: I slept in the same room as Namjoon for three years in early debut days and it's really not easy. I was sleeping just fine and then suddenly Namjoon... 🐨: You’ve milked that story dry already! 🐹: Namjoon suddenly does this... [He mimes holding a phone in front of RM’s face] right in my eyes. 🐹: So in my sleep, I was like "Namjoon, what are you doing?" and he goes "Wait, I think there's a mosquito."

🐥: Anyhow, because there were also some types of performances that I thought you guys, ARMY, might have been waiting for, and wanting to see for quite a while... I think I was worrying about that part more. 🐥: But this time, I really, really wanted to try something new, with cool performances as well... I came here with the thought that even if there are some parts that I felt a bit disappointed about, it would be a cool performance anyway... 🐥: so I'm very curious and worried about what you guys, ARMY who were the audience, felt about it. I hope you enjoyed it, and that's how I feel.

🐰: To be honest, we talked a lot about the 'Hooligan' music video among our members, too. 🐰: I don't know... both the company and we tried our best, but it's been so long since we last did something like this. 🐰: The process itself was really fun, though. I'm not sure how to put it... It's complicated. It's not easy, not easy at all.

👤: Hey, while you were living together (in LA), did you never fight? Not even once? 🐨: We did fight. One night after drinking, getting all melancholy and stuff. 👤: Who got the angriest? You, right? You again? You got mad again? 🐨: Ah, I didn't get mad! 👤: Who fought with whom? Who fought with whom? And SUGA broke it up. 🐨: Because we had to work again the next day, because we were always doing song camp. So I was like, "Hey. Let's clean this up a bit now, this situation..." and then- 👤: Oh, this is the highlight part right now, isn't it? 🐨: "Hyung, shouldn't you also not say that to Taehyung like that either?" This is what happened. 🐱: No but, I was right there beside them listening, and then suddenly the guys were getting heated, so I called Jimin over and I said, "What's this about?" But since they were all drunk they didn't really know exactly what it was about. But they were all like (huff huff) and then it became like this- 🐨: "No, but still, Hyung, you can't talk to a member like that!" 🐨: "Me? Why? What did I do?” 🐨: And then Taehyung suddenly went, "Exactly, I was disappointed too..." like that. 🐱: No, the two of them were suddenly bawling their eyes out. 👤: All of a sudden the two of them were on the same side. 🐨: Yes! All I said was let's call it a night and then I became some kind of... 👤: You became the bad guy. To Jimin, you were the bad guy. 🐨: I mean, I was less drunk than the two of them. So they followed me to my room and for 3 hours both of them were like "I'm so disappointed" like this. 👤: So what exactly is he disappointed by? 🐱: I was just watching from the side and I kept saying, "Hey, why?" 👤: That's so in character for you. 🐱: Why? Seriously, why? This doesn't seem like the time to fight right now? 👤: Then what about J-Hope? 🐨: Well, Hobi just went in early / went to sleep early. He doesn't drink much. 👤: That's so Hobi-like too. You probably still kind of hear it sometimes even now. 🐨: I do hear it! "A member is having a hard time"
