It’s about memory, identity, and love for one’s land. When someone says “fight only when it’s fair,” it sounds less like history and more like personal survival dressed up as wisdom. Maybe instead of quoting George Orwell, a little reading on resistance would help. Credit where it’s due he has built his space in stand-up. But sermons on history and struggle? That’s not his field. Stick to Gen Z comedy. Because if those who resisted from the Marathas to the Sikhs, from 1857 to countless unnamed struggles had subscribed to this thinking, India and its civilizational spine would have long been wiped out.
