Public transport is improving fast, but there is still a gap. Many people living outside Kigali cannot walk 20 km to reach bus stations. This makes it hard for them to benefit this new transport system. A simple solution would be to have public parking along the main roads into the city, where people can drive a short distance, leave their cars, and then take reliable buses for the rest of the journey. Park-and-ride could bridge that gap.
