#Cfs_telangana – Flying Squad Visit to M/s Supermarket Grocery Stores Supplies Pvt Ltd (Big Basket Warehouse) at Kompally, Hyd on 18-04-2026 Inspection revealed serious violations: · The warehouse is operating 22 transport vehicles, but the license does not include “Transport” in KoB, · Unhygienic & rusty transport vehicles violating Schedule 4 transport conditions. · Pigeon droppings, cobwebs found in the warehouse · Unclean vegetables & unsafe handling Action taken: · Samples of chicken & fish lifted on suspicion of adulteration /contamination for testing · Sample of Institutional Tamarind (Imli) packed by M/s Raja Rajeshwari Food Processors (FSSAI Lic. @cfs_telangana - Acting on a complaint received through the Food Safety Help Desk, Food Safety Officers inspected an unlicensed food establishment at Attapur, Hyderabad. Serious violations observed included: - Operational without FSSAI licence - Reuse of blackened cooking oil - Housefly infestation, poor sanitation & open drainage and unhygienic food preparation - Garbage near food preparation area - No pest control measures - Food handlers without protective gear Action Taken: ~3,000 pani puris, 4 kg samosas and 2 kg of used cooking oil discarded in the interest of public health. - Samples collected for laboratory analysis. - Business operations stopped. - Action under the FSS Act initiated.
