Task force team has conducted inspections in Kondapur area on 27.07.2024. 𝗘𝘅𝗼𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗮, 𝗛𝗶-𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝘆 * Live cockroach infestation observed inside store room. * The refrigerator used to store meat was found unhygienic. * FSSAI License true copy was displayed at the premises. * Food handlers were found wearing hairnets and uniforms. * Semi-prepared food articles stored inside the refrigerator were covered but not labelled with preparation and Use by dates. * Premises was found fitted with mesh and doors are close fitted to avoid entry of pests. * Dustbins were found without covers/ lids near vegetable cutting area. * Medical Fitness Certificates for food handlers and Testing reports for food articles available with FBO. @cfs_telangana - Acting on a complaint received through the Food Safety Help Desk, Food Safety Officers inspected an unlicensed food establishment at Attapur, Hyderabad. Serious violations observed included: - Operational without FSSAI licence - Reuse of blackened cooking oil - Housefly infestation, poor sanitation & open drainage and unhygienic food preparation - Garbage near food preparation area - No pest control measures - Food handlers without protective gear Action Taken: ~3,000 pani puris, 4 kg samosas and 2 kg of used cooking oil discarded in the interest of public health. - Samples collected for laboratory analysis. - Business operations stopped. - Action under the FSS Act initiated. @CFS_Telangana - Acting on the news item published in newspaper, the Flying Squad inspected M/s Balaji Pheni & Namkeen Unit, Nagole and lot of deviations were noticed during the inspection. · 150 kg of cooking oil, 720 kg of sev, and 120 kg of potato chips were seized. · Notices are being issued and adjudication proceedings will be initiated under the Food Safety and Standards Act. Public Advisory - Consumers are advised to purchase snacks, namkeen, and other food products only from licensed establishments and check the quality, packaging, and expiry details before consumption. #FoodSafety #EatRightIndia

Task force team has conducted inspections in IDA Patancheru on 12.02.2025. 𝗜𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗵𝗼𝘁 𝗙𝗼𝗼𝗱𝘀 𝗣𝘃𝘁 𝗟𝘁𝗱 (𝗦𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗲𝗿 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗜𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗴𝗼 𝗮𝗶𝗿𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗲𝗿), 𝗜𝗗𝗔 𝗣𝗮𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗿𝘂 * Improper storage measured followed like storing on ground, use of rusted racks and no FIFO method. * Expired food articles including Kasturi Methi (1.25kg), Mustard seeds (0.5kg), Rai Mota (1kg) were found and discarded. * Nutmeg (1.5kg) were found with labelling violations like no MRP, Batch No. and Date of packing and hence seized. * Few food articles were found stored on ground below a leaking air conditioner, which may lead to contamination of food articles. * Few vegetables like tomatoes were found to be spoiled and in rotten condition. * Live cockroach infestation was observed in the cooking area and grinding unit. * The flooring was found to be patchy and littered with food waste. Drains were found clogged. * Dustbins are not maintained. Food waste was found dumped in plastic bags. * Water analysis is being done non-NABL laboratory and hence not acceptable. * Latest records of testing of packing material is not available. Task force team has conducted inspections in Narayanaguda area on 03.02.2025. 𝗜𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗮𝗻 𝗗𝘂𝗿𝗯𝗮𝗿 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗮𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘁, 𝗡𝗮𝗿𝗮𝘆𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝘂𝗱𝗮 * Food handlers were found without aprons in kitchen area. * Boiled eggs were found placed near drains without any covering. * Severe cockroach infestation was observed in the kitchen. * Food items were found in fridge without preparation and use by dates. * Rotten tomatoes, green chillies and carrots with fungal infestation were found and discarded. * Sanitary items were placed along with food items in store room. * Pest control records and Medical fitness certificates for food handlers were not available. * Usage of synthetic food colours was observed. * Expired food items including Masala Powder (3pkts), Cumin powder (3.5kg - Oct 2024), Hazelnut flavored syrup (Sep 2024), Peach flavored syrup (Mar 2024) and Chilli flakes (Mar 2024) were found and discarded. Foul smell observed. * Cockroach infestation was observed in the kitchen. * Vessels in kitchen and refrigerator were found to be rusty. * Synthetic food colours was found being used in prepared items. * Rotten brinjal and cauliflower were found and discarded. * There is no FoSTaC trained supervisor despite more than 140 people working in the premises. * Expired food items including Rosemary (Sep 2023) and Curry cut chicken (4kg - 02.01.2025, 2kg - 14.01.2025, 4kg - 28.01.2025) were found and discarded. * Water analysis reports were not available. Task Force team has conducted inspections in Saifabad and Abids area on 24.09.2024. 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗡𝗶𝘇𝗮𝗺 𝗖𝗹𝘂𝗯, 𝗦𝗮𝗶𝗳𝗮𝗯𝗮𝗱 * FBO found operating food business without any valid FSSAI license. * Medical Fitness Certificates for food handlers, Pest Control Records for premises & Water Analysis Report for RO water used for food preparation were not available with the FBO. * Live cockroach infestation observed inside kitchen premises. * Water seepage observed from ceiling directly over grinding area. * Refrigerator doors were found found broken and joints were rusted. Food articles stored were found covered but not labelled. * Drains were found clogged and water stagnation observed. * Synthetic food colors found inside kitchen and upon enquiry FBO stated to have used them for Chinese items. Hence discarded on the spot. * Cosmetic Rose water was found in store area and suspected of being used in pudding preparation as per FBO statement. Hence discarded on the spot and instructed to use Food Grade Rose water only. * Beetle infestation observed in wheat flour & urad dal inside store room. * Dustbins found open at few points without proper lids.
