Going through the new trailer frame by frame and noticing some new things. This shot of an explosion in front of a moving worm was triggered by a Lasgun. I increased the contrast and lowered the exposure to see it better, and there is definitely a laser hitting something!

I noticed that Leto and Paul wear the Ducal Signet on different fingers. Leto wears it on his middle finger, and Paul on his pointer finger. I researched the historical meaning/symbolism of wearing rings on certain fingers and talked about how it fits into their characters.

My final contribution to this Edric/Hayt discussion. Carlos Huantes, concept artist and collaborator on Denis Villeneuve's Arrival, has an early version of a Heptapod on his site. I believe directors and artists will save unused ideas for later dates, and that is happening here.
