$Now we're cooking. Got TypeSafe AI's Jev + AXe controlling the iOS simulator now ultra fast at a fraction of the cost of using an LLM. This is game changing!$

Being able to run iOS 26 using native virtualisation on macOS is pretty wild. Not sure what the use-case for this is but it's pretty interesting none-the-less

Coming soon: XcodeBuildMCP debugging a run-time crash with the new LLDB capability. Coding agent can inspect an application at run-time, add/remove breakpoints, get stacktraces, and issue lldb commands just like a human developer would.

Introducing Skill Manager. Your coding agent loads every skill's description, whether it's needed or not wasting precious context and potentially loading conflicting skills. With Skill Manager you can switch skills on and off one at a time, group them by theme either manually or by using the AI auto-group feature, and toggle with just two clicks from the menu bar. Skill Manager also scans your skills for potential issues, and can even perform an AI review for those more complex of issues. Works with Claude Code, Codex, Cursor and more. Download for free from

Here is AXe using TypeSafe AI Jev with the instruction "Open Calendar app, go to Aug 16 2026, create a new event titled 'Cameron Birthday' and save." to control the iOS simulator. This cost only $0.006141. This is just an early prototype and I should be able to make this far more efficient too.

XcodeBuildMCP 2.6 is here, and the UI automation tools got a serious glow-up. 🚀 Same task, same simulator, side by side: ⏱ 70% faster (6m57s → 2m06s) 🧠 68% fewer tokens (232.8k → 75k) 🔧 76% fewer tool calls (86 → 21) Watch them race 👇

Coming soon: XcodeBuildMCP seamlessly integrates with the Xcode IDE! Its tools automatically use the Xcode IDE's project, scheme and simulator selections, extending Xcode’s AI coding agents with new abilities: run on device/simulator, tap, swipe, type, capture screenshots/video, debug, log, and more. They complement Xcode’s built-in toolset. We don’t duplicate what Xcode already does well (like build/test), we add the capabilities that unlock new workflows. And that's not all. If you're using XcodeBuildMCP with your own coding agent, and you have the latest Xcode open, XcodeBuildMCP will proxy Xcode MCP's tools, so you don't need to set up another MCP server. It just works.

Still not convinced of the benefits of UI Automation with XcodeBuildMCP? How about having your very own QA tester? The prompt "Please go ahead and test different calculations":
