Susie Silvestri could no longer speak or walk and hadn’t eaten for days. She was begging for a feeding tube. The so-called Dr. Goodenowe Restorative Health Centre in Moose Jaw where she was staying wouldn’t do it. Out of desperation and to cover the $84,000 USD fee to receive care, Silvestri put her house up for sale. Eventually, Silvestri rented an ambulance and left the centre for a hospital in Montana. She died there, alone and scared. This is a horrific tragedy. It warrants a full investigation from Scott Moe and his Minister of Health. We have to do something to ensure this never, ever happens again.

Donald Trump called the agricultural imports to his country "dirty and uninspected." For the record, Saskatchewan's agricultural sector is world-class. Scott Moe cannot stay silent on this. I am demanding he grows a spine and condemns the comments from the US President.

The comments that have emerged from a Sask. Party MLA today are deeply hateful and hurtful. The apology issued by Racquel Hilbert does little to ease the pain caused by her initial comments, which were clearly and premeditated and written out in advance before being delivered in the Legislature. That Legislature belongs to the people of Saskatchewan. It is a place to bring people together, not drive us apart. I want to give special recognition tonight to Saskatchewan’s Sikh community — a community that contributes so much to our province and has shown such generosity; giving back in so many ways. I also want to pay credit to my colleagues Tajinder Grewal and Bhajan Brar who are both proud Sikhs and hardworking representatives for all Saskatchewan people. I am proud to serve with you each and every day.

A referendum on separation from Canada will drive jobs and investment out of Saskatchewan, even if it’s unsuccessful – just look at what happened to Quebec. I heard that loud and clear in my meetings with energy leaders this week. That’s why, today, I introduced Bill 604 — the Keep Saskatchewan in Canada Act. If passed, this critical legislation will: ➡️ Double the threshold for citizen petitions on separation referendums — from 15 per cent to 30 per cent of eligible voters. ➡️ It would also remove the ability of the Sask. Party Government to unilaterally hold a referendum on separation without broad support. This legislation is designed to provide long-term stability for workers, businesses, and investors at a time of tariffs and renewed uncertainty over Donald Trump’s threats toward Canadian sovereignty. Friends, this is such a critical moment and we have an opportunity to bring Canada together and get generational projects over the line — more rail lines, pipelines and power lines. Canada is 1st. Never 51st.

Scott Moe refuses to condemn those seeking to break up Canada. Today, in Question Period, I gave him a chance to make up for his horrid answer late last week. Again, the Premier duck, dodged and weaved. Dividing Canada plays right into Donald Trump's hands. Moe should have the backbone to say so.

Over 200 parents signed a petition asking Scott Moe to fix the roof at their children's school. They even brought Sask. Party ministers to visit last June. They were ignored. It flooded again last week. This is Scott Moe's record on "parental involvement". #cdnpoli #skpoli

Saskatchewan, We've introduced The Rent Control Act. It's time to get your costs under control. Rent here has increased 40-straight months and some people have faced a 30 — even 40 per cent — increase without warning. We have to put a stop to this. You work hard. You deserve a roof over your head, food on the kitchen table and so much more. That's the future I want for you. #saskatchewan #rentcontrol

Without warning, the Sask. Party has cut a program providing financial support to students fleeing from wartorn Ukraine. These students are already here, studying and building their lives in Saskatchewan. When we raised this issue in Question Period, the Minister accused of us fearmongering. Well, you can hear directly from the impacted students themselves about the devastating impact this will have on their lives. Hey Sask. Party, reverse these cuts and give these future leaders hope — they've been through so much. #saskatchewan #yqr

This week, we’ve exposed that it’s American companies profiting off people paying to park at hospitals in Regina. And it’s an American company — and longtime Sask. Party donor — profiting off running our lab services. Americans are running our parks system. Our hunting registration. Our fishing licences and so much more. The Sask. Party promised to end these contracts. But they have provided ZERO evidence that they’ve removed even one. Instead, they pander. To Trump. To separatists. To anyone that will help them stay in power. Well, it’s been 18 years of that I say it’s enough is enough. We don’t need a government dragging us backwards. I say it’s time to move forward.

If Scott Moe and the Sask party were really running on their record, they wouldn’t be running from nurses. Not only has the Sask Party failed to show up for healthcare workers and Saskatchewan patients for 17 years - they failed to show up to talk to nurses today. #skpoli
