The influencer and adult content creator Nicolette Pardo Molina, widely known online as "La Nicholette" (or "La Muchacha del Salado"), was reportedly kidnapped on January 20, 2026, in the Isla Musalá neighborhood of Culiacán, Sinaloa, Mexico. The incident occurred in the afternoon near Plaza 11:11 (around 4-5 PM local time), where she was intercepted by armed men, reportedly 2-3 individuals, some appearing quite young, who arrived in a white Toyota Corolla (or similar vehicle). They forced her into their car after a struggle, as captured on video by her own vehicle's cameras. Her distinctive purple (or lilac/morado) Tesla Cybertruck was left abandoned at the scene and later secured by authorities. As of now, her whereabouts remain unknown, with no confirmed updates on her location or condition. The Sinaloa state prosecutor's office has activated the Protocolo Alba (a protocol for locating missing women) to aid in the search. This event has drawn significant attention due to the viral footage and her public profile as a TikTok/Instagram creator, entrepreneur (including a boutique and merchandise like caps), and OnlyFans personality, often recognized for her flashy lifestyle and the custom Cybertruck. Authorities have not released an official motive, though local speculation in some reports mentions possible links to organized crime.

CJNG captured and interrogated four members of the Sinaloa Cartel (El Mayo faction) in the state of Zacatecas. The video, which runs approximately 14 minutes, shows the prisoners making several damaging statements. According to the detainees, their faction refers to local Zacatecas residents as "Indians" and views robbing them as easy as "taking candy from a child." They also claim that the state’s elite police unit FRIZ was created by Oscar Aparicio Avendaño, a relative of a high-ranking Sinaloa Cartel (El Mayo) member, and that the unit has been operating in the cartel’s interests. Aparicio later moved to Chiapas, where he reportedly took over the Secretariat of Public Security while continuing to support the same faction. One of the prisoners further stated that simply identifying themselves as “people of La Mancha” (the code name for the Cabrera Sarabia brothers) is enough to avoid interference from the Mexican Army.
