They storm in during the final week, demanding answers, meetings, and miracles, as if the report card is some cruel surprise. Never mind the 10, 15, or even 20+ notices we sent home. Never mind the repeated phone calls, the emails, the texts begging for a parent conference. We reached out relentlessly, but radio silence was the only reply… until now. As teachers, we’ve learned the hard way to protect ourselves and our sanity. I keep meticulous records of every single contact attempt—every note sent, every call made, every voicemail left, every email and text. Each student has their own folder in my binder, a complete paper trail of our good-faith efforts. Because this end-of-year ambush is so predictable, our school sets aside a full day just for these parents. We line up tables in the gym like a tribunal of truth. Parents file in one by one. They give us the child’s name, and we calmly retrieve that thick folder. Then, as the complaints and accusations start flying—“You never told me!” “This isn’t fair!”—we begin the quiet, powerful ritual. One by one, we pull out each piece of documentation and lay it on the table in front of them. Dated. Detailed. Undeniable. The yelling fades. The bluster dies. The finger-pointing stops cold as the evidence stacks up right before their eyes. Why not get involved with your child’s education? This poor dude made many poor choices from the time he chose his friends for this trip to thinking he can hang with the locals. Dude, the regulars spotted you from a mile away all night and knew you were a Bourbon Street virgin. 😂 Your friends, well, they’re shitty friends leaving you on the sidewalk instead of taking you back to the hotel. I’d be willing to bet you woke up with no wallet and jewelry left. You’re lucky you still have your cowboy boots on. Have you ever been to New Orleans?

Woman is having a complete meltdown at Wendy’s. The cops are called to the restaurant to figure out what was going on. They start talking to her and right away they can tell something is off. She claims to have her receipt in her car for her order, so they convince her to take them to her car and show them the receipt and they will make sure she gets her food. She begins acting even more weird once the cops have her outside. Honestly, I could never be a police officer. My patience would run out really quickly with people like this. Could you? All I can say is God Bless our Police Officers all around the country. You do NOT get paid nearly enough for putting your lives on the line daily much less for listening to and dealing with crap like this. #BacktheBlue

The owner understands that people are tired of the tipping culture, so he doesn’t allow tipping, taxes or service fees in his establishment and instead pays his employees $40 per hour Now, here’s the catch: every meal will cost $140 per person. The price is all inclusive and nothing will be added to that price. I know when we go to a nice restaurant, it can easily cost $140+ per person and then add tip, taxes, and service fee as well. Do you think this is a better deal or a word game with tips, taxes and service fees? What are your thoughts on this?
