The first indent for automobile loading in NMG rakes from Igatpuri (IGP) to Nautanwa (NTV) in the Lucknow Division of North Eastern Railway has been placed by Transport Corporation of India Ltd 🔸 100 cars loaded in 25 NMG wagons 🔸 ₹17.16 lakh revenue per rake Enhancing logistics efficiency while promoting faster, cost-effective and sustainable freight movement. Restoration work is progressing at a rapid pace. After repairing and strengthening the temporary access road through the forest, 50–60 dumpers of granular material are now reaching the base of the UP line slope failure site. Long-arm excavators are deployed to place this material on the slope, enabling restoration of nearly 50% of the slope from bottom upwards. Simultaneously, granular material unloaded from the Material Specials at the top is being rolled down the slope, facilitating restoration of the upper half. Central Railway teams are working round the clock to restore the section at the earliest while ensuring safety.
