Williams had an illegal gun, fled police, resisted police, and refused to drop the weapon. Williams was awarded $225K for an owie while resisting CPD. Since Lois is selective with her "reporting," we have some of Donnelly's history worth sharing. In 2017, a mentally challenged man was held captive for several hours in an apartment on the West Side. The man was bound, gagged, cut with a knife, and forced to drink toilet water while the assailants shouted profanities against white people and Donald Trump. The incident was livestreamed on Facebook and made national news. Ofc. Donnelly located the victim "bloodied and battered" in the Harrison District after the man escaped his torturers and brought him to safety. Only recently, Donnelly, along with fellow officers, recovered a stolen car and apprehended all three offenders. When arresting Lorenzo Williams, Donnelly helped get an armed thug off the street and recovered an illegal gun. Mike Donnelly is a pretty good cop. Heather Cherone sucks as a reporter. Chicago needs more Mike Donnellys and fewer Heather Cherones.
