With the recent launch of the Xi'an-Yan'an line, China's high-speed rail network has surpassed 50,000 km, ranking first in the world. This new route makes covering the distance between the two cities faster with a direct trip taking just 68 minutes. Besides shortening travel time, foreign travelers will also find their railway experience more convenient with bilingual services available at the Xi'an station and full 5G coverage along the route. Additionally, the new Xi'an-Yan'an line boosts local economies by transporting products like Luochuan apples rapidly nationwide.

The slow train to Chinese New Year! It's hard to imagine that in 2025, a 70-plus-year-old slow train is still shuttling back and forth between Xinglong County and the city center of Chengde.
