"How do you post so often?" ✨ I used to post entirely manually... on every single platform! At first I didn't mind it but after a while I was wondering if there's another way 🤔 Something I LOVE to recommend to people over and over again is using scheduling tools to help you. They don't have to be super complicated or something you pay for either, and the support they provide gives you time to focus on other things! I use a website called Buffer - but there are many lovely scheduling tools like it online, so you're bound to find something that you enjoy using! By using a tool like this you can focus on creation while the tool helps you by sorting the posting out. All you have to do is add your content, your description, hashtags, and then schedule it for a set day. Then you can leave it and ta-da! Content! 💛

You're doing BETTER than you think ✨ A lot of people tend to forget just how many people stream across platforms. There are massively more people sitting on 0-3 viewers than there are people sitting on 10 plus, even less so at 50 plus! If you constantly keep your eye on larger creators around you wondering why you're not growing or why you're on lower numbers, you may just create more worry and sadness for yourself because your perspective will be skewed 😢 Take a moment to appreciate how well you're doing for hitting that insane Affiliate status, or for getting a whopping 10 subs in a month, for example! 💚 Scrolling through the platform to see how other people starting out are streaming, interacting, and how they're doing, might be something that can help as well to make you appreciate just how well you're doing, and see that there are many other people like you working hard!

For those who have been watching me recently, you know that I tried a NEW mic 🙈 There's a certain sound I was looking for and really wanted but couldn't really get with my current mic, so I tried a new one thinking maybe that'll be easier to work with. Silly me! Needless to say the world of sound engineering is vast, fascinating, difficult, and oh-so-very frustrating. Other than finding a lot of complicated graph settings for female singing vocals, pretty much every OBS tip you get is either only using OBS' own filters, or men using the additional plug-ins etc 🥲 Apparently this is something chat struggled with as well, which is interesting! But I'm also so so relieved that I ended up having an amading sound savvy communtiy member (thanks Rob!) to help me set it up and now I love my mic settings! 💚

Are you a new streamer? 👀 I made this video about THREE months into my VTubing experience and here I am today, entering EIGHT months in this amazing creative outlet and... My inital tips are still ringing true! ✨ 🍀Authentically be yourself Silly, chaotic, loud, quiet, messy, you name it. Being yourself will be less tiring and more genuine 🍀Have fun If you're bored... your audience Will be bored. Switch game if you need to, focus on having a good time 🍀 Don't obsess about stats The growth curve can be a rollercoaster and following it too closely instead of looking at the bigger picture can be difficult on your mental 🍀 Hide viewer count Seeing a view drop no matter what number your sitting on is hard. Turning this off can help focus and balance

Some things I've learned on how to grow your stream! ✨ 🍀 Setting a schedule While I know it can be hard to find the time for it depending on your life, predictability on when people can find you online is HUGE! Dotting extra streams here and there is great, but setting one or two or more regular days in is ideal 🍀 Queueing posts A lot of platforms offer to schedule posts, which means that you just have to write them out, maybe draft them, and then you'll have things ready to post. This can be anything: sharing progress on skills, posting ideas, screenshots, etc! 🍀 Active effort! Whether it's interacting in your discord, commenting on other's posts, writing scripts, learning new programs, setting up collabs, or scheduling content, a little bit goes a long way Consistency beats everything. It's okay to miss a day here and there, but make sure that you make content creation a grind you can enjoy! 💛

Now is THE time to start VTubing!! ✨ In 2025 there were SO many new customisables made in so many different styles and price ranges, everyone's bound to find something they enjoy! Regardless of the reason why you want to give it a go, being a VTuber or trying to make your persona move can be an incredible feeling! I remember the first time my face made a model move and it was just so cool to start to understand how fun of a hobby this could be 💚 If it's something you've been thinking about trying out, having a scroll on Booth or Vgen can be a fun thing to do - and maybe you'll find something you like!

Earning MONEY from VTubing? 💰 I get this two part question a lot: "Should I start VTubing only to earn money?" and "Can I start VTubing to afford it?" 🤔 If you want to try VTubing you can do so without spending a single penny, but of course there are hundreds and thousands to spend too! Content creation is hard. Unless you have a well-stocked wallet and outsource the help, it's an incredibly time consuming hobby that requires you to spend many long hours learning new software, jumping platforms, communication, networking, the list goes on! But it's a process that will undoubtably burn you out if passion and interest isn't driving it 💚 While there are many ways to earn money as a creator online (be it as a VTuber or not) like through sponsorships, viewer interactions, brand deals, etc, I would never personally recommend someone start it Only to earn money!

Numbers 👏 don't 👏 mean 👏 anything 👏 Numbers don’t always equal success. Thousands of followers does not mean thousands or even hundreds of viewers, just how a lot of viewers doesn’t always mean a lot of subs, for example! There are lots of reasons, like people quitting or taking breaks or rebranding - a lot of things can change in the journey of a creator ✨ It can be easy to see a high number and expect someone to be GIANT creator - but numbers don't always tell the whole story and it's so important to remember that and not assume anything about anyone else's journey 💚
