At first I didn't mind it but after a while I was wondering if there's another way 🤔 Something I LOVE to recommend to people over and over again is using scheduling... tools to help you. They don't have to be super complicated or something you pay for either, and the support they provide gives you time to focus on other things! I use a website called Buffer - but there are many lovely scheduling tools like it online, so you're bound to find something that you enjoy using! By using a tool like this you can focus on creation while the tool helps you by sorting the posting out. All you have to do is add your content, your description, hashtags, and then schedule it for a set day. Then you can leave it and ta-da! Content! 💛show more

Some things I've learned on how to grow your stream! ✨ 🍀 Setting a schedule While I know it can be hard to find the time for it depending on your life, predictability on when people can find you online is HUGE! Dotting extra streams here and there is great, but setting one or two or more regular days in is ideal 🍀 Queueing posts A lot of platforms offer to schedule posts, which means that you just have to write them out, maybe draft them, and then you'll have things ready to post. This can be anything: sharing progress on skills, posting ideas, screenshots, etc! 🍀 Active effort! Whether it's interacting in your discord, commenting on other's posts, writing scripts, learning new programs, setting up collabs, or scheduling content, a little bit goes a long way Consistency beats everything. It's okay to miss a day here and there, but make sure that you make content creation a grind you can enjoy! 💛

Pavel Durov on why he hasn't had depression in 20 years: "I normally never have depression. I don't remember having depression in the last 20 years, at least maybe when I was a teenager." Pavel's approach to difficult emotions is completely counterintuitive. As he puts it: "I'm a human being like everybody else. I do get to experience emotions and some of them are not very pleasant. But I believe that it's the responsibility of every one of us to cope with these emotions and to learn to work through them." His method: "One of the reasons I don't have depression is I start doing things. I identify the problem, I can see a solution, and I start executing the strategy. The mistake people make: "People often make this mistake thinking 'Oh, I should just have some rest and then regain energy.' This is not how it works. You gain energy by doing something. Right now, I have a few dozen tools to automate my life. Every single thing that I do more than once every week is now a tool: either a Claude Code skill, a scheduled workflow, or an application. • I spend the time doing this once. • I schedule it. • I forget about it (or at least, try to) CREAO is one of the platforms I've used extensively for building some of these automations. They are partnering with me on this post. They are one of the only platforms where you can go from a conversation to a scheduled agent that quickly. This is how it works: 1. You describe the problem you want to solve 2. CREAO's agent builds the logic and executes it 3. You can iterate with the agent to improve the solution 4. When you are done, you turn that solution into a mini app 5. You can schedule that app to run any time you need it Something important: These agents are deterministic. They don't use an LLM to generate answers, so they will always return the same output given the same input. This is critical: when you're automating something that runs every Monday at 9 am, you need it to return the same result every time, not a "creative" answer.

Jordan Peterson: "If you can't fix your room, you can't fix your life" "Why should you even bother improving yourself? The answer is something like: so you don't suffer anymore stupidly than you have to. And maybe so others don't have to either. It's not some casual self-help doctrine. If you don't organize yourself properly, you'll pay for it. In a big way. And so will the people around you." Peterson continues: "You can say, 'Well, I don't care about that.' But that's actually not true, you do care about it. Because if you're in pain, you will care about it. It's very rare that you can find someone in excruciating pain who would say, 'Well, it would be no better if I was out of this.' Pain brings the idea that it would be better if it didn't exist along with it. It's incontrovertible." On how to start: "Look around for something that bothers you and see if you can fix it. You can do this in a room. Sit in your bedroom and think: 'If I wanted to spend ten minutes making this room better, what would I have to do?' You have to ask yourself that, it's a genuine question. And things will pop out. There's a stack of papers bugging you. Some rubbish behind your computer monitor you haven't attended to for six months. Cables tangled up." Linear CEO Karri Saarinen says some companies are using "friction forms" to help engineers break through bureaucracy and get new AI tools approved faster: "There are a lot of companies where employees ask, 'Can I use agents?' and they say, 'No, you can’t.' And they don’t really have a reason for it, or they say, 'We have to evaluate it,' and that evaluation takes months." "This has to change. The industry is moving so fast, so you cannot have month-long, multi-month processes to evaluate every single new tool. I think the security standpoint is valid, but you have to figure out a new way to think about security and not just block new tools." "One hack I’ve seen at some companies is that they have this friction form. So engineers who feel friction and want to use new tools or AI file a friction form, and that escalates it to higher leadership. Then it makes an SLA that has to be resolved in a week or 10 days." This same Promiseland show? I see a lot of people tagging me in videos to suggest that Promiseland was a flop. Once again, this same show? Or you just decided to push the part of the event that fits your toxic narrative that the show flopped! Yes, there were challenges but I can say the same for all events this season as well, but a flop? 🤣 You are so desperate for him to flop so you looked for videos that support your theory, something this camp has been doing to all other events, every other person seems like a threat to this particular camp, I think it's a demonic spirit and because you can count on the dumb fans to share it, they've been doing that like they robots. We are entering a new year, and I really do not have time for this unnecessary agenda, and then when the same energy is given you start saying we hate you. Honestly, I would have been surprised if they didn't do that to Promiseland too!
