Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson scolds a Latina female reporter for asking whether or not he's going to the Bears game while he goes to London (He coincidentally decided to go to London to "attract business" to Chicago the same week of the Bears game). It's disrespectful and condescending for pointing out that the "Black man" is going to London for a Bears game. He ends it by essentially saying yes, he'll be at the game to "root for the Chicago Bears."

Mayor Brandon Johnson is asked whether or not he plans on making changes to his summer safety strategy after 71 people were shot over the weekend and a 7 year old was shot and killed today in #Chicago. He responds by saying that it's "unfortunate that we have people fighting my [Johnson's] administration against the investments we are working to make" and says that "our parks are open" He closes by saying what is needed in this moment is to create "more opportunities for families" and says the tragedy we are dealing with right now is the "direct result of decades of disinvestment" He did not provide an answer as to whether or not he plans on making changes to his summer safety strategy.

Reminder Brandon Johnson thought Looting was ok because the Businesses have insurance . Hear it for yourself in the video below . So in other words in a Chicago with Brandon Johnson in charge looting would be okay and more Businesses would simply just leave causing economy problems . #ChicagoElection

More video of today's "teen takeover" where 7 people were shot outside the Chicago Theater. This comes after #Chicago was rattled when a woman was set on fire on a train at the Clark and Lake station for no reason by a repeat felon. #ChicagoScanner

Viewer discretion is advised, some people may find the following images disturbing. A video of a crash at Irving Park and Central on March 26, 2024 at 1:57 AM. Mayor Brandon Johnson was recently revealed to have spent $80,000+ on redecorating his wife's office, including $43,000 on furniture alone (a chair costing $2,200+, a desk at $4,4000, 2 chairs totaling $8,300). When asked about it, Johnson essentially says these purchases aren't going to change anything regarding city finances. This all comes at a time when Johnson seeks to get approval for a $1.5 billion bond issuance and a $300 million loan for Chicago Teacher's Union contract demands and the city faces $1 billion deficit and there is the potential for layoffs and cuts, including to police and fire. Johnson has already cancelled the next 2 Chicago Police academy classes. #Chicago

Crime is trending down thanks to Superintendent Larry Snelling and State’s Attorney Eileen O’Neill Burke but things like this video from a shooting in September at 79th and Western still occur. A world class city should be devoid of this. Progress has been made thanks to law enforcement leadership, but it's still shocking to see and far too common. #Chicago #ChicagoScanner
