Bree Hall is warming up with the guards, as she’s going to be activated for her first of 12 games tonight with Sophie Cunningham’s injury. Justine Pissott will not be activated.

Caitlin Clark is participating in shootaround this morning, going through warmups then some non-contact drills with the second team. She has not officially returned to practice, I’m told, but this her first time working with the team since her injury.

After missing the first game of her WNBA career on Sunday, Aliyah Boston is participating in early defensive drills this morning at practice:

Stephanie White on the reports that DeWanna Bonner does not intend to return to the Fever: “I haven’t had a lot of conversations with her recently, really focused on the team we have right here.”

Stephanie White says DeWanna Bonner is doing well, but there’s no timeline for her return. Bonner has missed three games because of personal reasons and is not with the Fever on their road trip.

Saniya Rivers went to the sideline to inbound the ball after a timeout, then stepped away and had a passionate conversation with the refs. It resulted with a fan sitting courtside getting ejected, and fans waved goodbye to him as he walked up the stairs.

Player development coach Keith Porter, who usually has a large role working with players on the court, ruptured his Achilles yesterday. Steph White says “his spirits are good” and details how his role will evolve while he can’t play:

Caitlin Clark is going to be out on Saturday, Steph White says. “No indication” on how long she’ll be out, but White says their week off next week is a good time to get her treatment.

Aliyah Boston will be out tonight against the Sparks, and Caitlin Clark will be available, Steph White says. They’ll “flip-flop” for tomorrow’s game against Phoenix — Boston will be available, Clark will be out.

Sophie Cunningham clarifies her comments from her podcast last night: “I just wanted to be somewhere for over one year. I’m 30 years old, I want to have a home, I want to get established.” Also said she had multi-year offers elsewhere but chose to stay with the Fever.

Caitlin Clark on her tech: “I deserved it, but it was worth it.” Adds: “The delay of game made no sense. It felt like Tyler (Mirkovich) wanted to insert himself into the game, and that was ridiculous.”

CC goes “I think it’s speculation” when asked if she wants to address “misleading reports” about division in the team. Steph White adds: “If we're going to continue to create news from fans on social media or bots on social media, or whatever it may be, then that's a problem.”

Asked Steph White on CC’s probable injury report status and what it may be going forward: “Just to make sure that there’s clarity and no issues with league policy, I think that we will. I think you can expect to see it probable going forward.”
