It drew national attention and triggered thousands of comments from people demanding change. But so far, not peep from socialist Mayor Katie Wilson or other elected officials in this city. That's because this is all happening on their watch and it's easier to ignore the problem. So here is the longer form version of this human tragedy. Send it to your lawmaker and tell them to do something about it before more lives are lost to the streets.

Henry's Taiwan and Seattle Herbs & Grocery officially closed this month after being long time staples at the corner of 12th Ave & Jackson St. The owners blame socialist Mayor Katie Wilson's inability to handle crime and homeless drug encampments in the area.
