The BLACK male suspect is now in cuffs. Witnesses say he is a homeless drug addict who frequents the 12th Ave & Jackson St fetty den a few blocks away. BREAKING: Joyale Seafood Restaurant in Seattle's Chinatown-ID is shutting down. The dim sum establishment at 900 S. Jackson St is laying off workers and turning away customers. Sources say it's due to crime and open-air drug use in the area. Community activist Tanya Woo first got word of this closure. That's because Mayor Katie Wilson is accused of sacrificing Chinatown-ID by pushing the city's homeless drug addicts into a neighborhood "containment zone." Wilson is apparently willing to do whatever it takes to avoid bad optics. #BREAKING: Addicts say a new batch of fentanyl laced with meth, insect repellant, and rat poison is hitting the streets of Seattle. Late Tuesday evening, I was reporting in Chinatown-ID and saw a group of people struggling to revive a man laid out on the sidewalk. Even after multiple hits of Narcan, the guy was barely breathing. So I assisted with a sternum rub which helped bring him back to his senses. Mayor Bruce Harrell(Mayor Katie B. Wilson) and every politician in the city must acknowledge the drug crisis is out of control. This has nothing to do with a lack of affordable housing. Everyone I talked to this evening had a place to go. Stop conflating the two issues. An entire generation is being wiped out on their watch. The current plan is not working.
