Nigeria: David Raymond, a 13-year-old Christian, has gone to be with the Lord. He and his family were among the Christians attacked by Fulani Islamists last month in Bokkos, Plateau State. He lost his mom and dad and was left grievously wounded. For 18 days he struggled to survive before succumbing to his injuries. Before he passed, David recounted that horrible night. David is one of many Nigerian Christian children lost in just the last few weeks. These innocent children – along with their families – must be protected against the Islamist evil engulfing their lands.

Egypt: A Coptic Christian has been sentenced to five years in prison – with hard labor – for his faith. Dr. Augustinos Samaan, 37, holds a PhD in comparative religion and engaged in Christian apologetics. At one point, he spoke about anti-Christian incitement - for this he was arrested under a fraudulent charge of blasphemy. The legal proceedings appear to have been a sham. His defense counsel and family arrived at court only to discover he had already been sentenced. Even now, his defense attorney has never received a case file – and the case is over! Augustinos has reportedly been assaulted in jail – he needs immediate help and must be released. Pray for Augustinos, his family and all Coptic Christians in Egypt. #FreeAugustinos
