Collider Interview with #Ramayana cast dropped last night and it's not good. Ranbir started with firing shots on creators and all the negativity people are spreading on internet like calling it AI when its hard work of thousands of artists. Namit then doubled down, they went into a spiral and it was not looking good. I'll talk about it more in my next posts in detail.

Most reactions: It’s an epic. I was the first to criticise #RamayanaTrailer right after watching it on my phone at 4:15. I posted my review of what I dislike and still have the same issues: the monsters and creatures look animated, and the visual effects need more work. I hope they improve in the next three months. Most people appreciate the trailer. I’m not sure if they’re ignoring the VFX because audiences get brutal in the comments, but very few channels complained. I want it to be perfect and remain hopeful. Their intent is right; they listened to previous feedback and improved a lot. They changed the Hollywood-looking monsters to Rakshasas, which I appreciate, and adjusted the colour grading. They’re listening, so I want to believe in it.

Exactly what I said the day trailer of #Ramayana got released. What is the need to generate basic altar fire shot with vfx, why not use FIRE FIRE and then maybe elevate it with effects. He talks about Krrish scene where they actually used real fire and then enhanced it with visual effects hence it looked so good. Also he’s going on a podcast where big names from yt will discuss Ramayana and also one member from vfx team of Ramayana will also be present, so he will ask him about this particular shot.

People keep saying that chosing Nitesh Tiwari for this project was the biggest blunder for #Ramayana as he’s not into technicality and stuff, he’s not suitable for this big budget spectacle. Well first of all that’s where DNEG steps in and there are multiple directors from all over the world for each department to supervise it, still saying a director like Nitesh is not fit is typical hater behaviour. Emotional aspect on which SS Rajamouli also focuses in each interview will be blended by this director only.

One is where Ravana fights with Jatayu. Now, Jatayu is the protective king of birds. You know, when Ravana has kidnapped Sita, and he's taking her in his Pushpak Vimaan, which is like a plane, Jatayu comes to protect and fight with Ravana to see if he can save Sita. That's a very exciting part. There is another section where Rama fights with an army of 14,000 Rakshasas in the jungle. That is something which is truly extraordinary, yeah, where Rama discovers probably at that time that he is the one who's chosen for a certain cause."
