A straightforward question: how would you harmonise and streamline taxes for MSMEs that are currently facing multiple layers of taxation from state and local levels? I was a bit upset too when I first saw the clip until I watched the full video. I honestly don’t see what the outrage is about. She never said people should go and start frying akara or kulikuli. She was only explaining the empowerment programmes she has carried out, the grants that have been distributed, and how some small businesses don’t require millions to get off the ground. Funny how you guys conveniently skipped the part where she talked about the billions donated to cancer intervention, healthcare, education, agriculture, and other empowerment initiatives. Let’s pretend that there are no people that need as low as N100k to set up a mini business. The beneficiaries of the grants didn’t complain. The people who needed the support received it. You don’t have to like the government. You don’t even have to agree with their policy. But deliberately stripping a statement of its context just to manufacture outrage is very dishonest.

Why is every unfortunate incident in Nigeria immediately turned into proof that the country is a failure? Every tragedy is instantly politicised. This was just last week in Montreal, Canada. Nobody claimed Canadians voted wrongly or used the disaster to mock the entire country. Yes, we should demand accountability from the govt but not every disaster or accident should be politicised.

If that’s you right now, staring at red, you didn’t necessarily pick bad stocks. You picked the wrong entry point. Those are two very different problems. Don’t buy the noise. Buy the value. Y’all really need to watch these clips and judge for yourselves how out of touch Peter Obi seems. Question: What should Nigerians expect in your first 100 days regarding oil theft and the gas shortage crippling the energy sector? Peter Obi: If South Africa can declare a state of emergency on power, we will declare war.………….. I didn’t just go to Egypt, I didn’t go to India... and the rest is history. My question is, how are educated people still backing this guy when it’s clear he doesn’t grasp the depth of Nigeria’s problems? How do you solve a crisis you can’t even articulate? Who are the people packaging this guy as the messiah? Imagine handing the fate of a complex country like Nigeria to someone who can’t connect the question to a coherent answer. The question. I remember In 2022, when Asiwaju was seeking the presidency, he went to Abeokuta with his entourage to seek Obasanjo’s support. After the visit, Obasanjo threw him under the bus to support Obi. Pa Ayo Adebanjo constantly denigrated and talked down on him while supporting Obi. Even Doyin Okupe, who had once been aligned within Asiwaju’s broader political space shifted to Obi. He tried to solicit support from his own people, but they betrayed him. Today, he is the President of the federal republic of Nigeria, he won against all odds. Doyin Okupe and Pa Ayo Adebanjo are now late (may their souls continue to rest in peace). The Obasanjo who did not support him came to the airport to welcome him as the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Just as he said, “My adversaries cannot control my destiny because my fate is written from above.”
