The model is not enough - it doesn't come with an understanding of how your business or team works. That context is spread across the work happening every day: files, conversations, emails, databases, and apps. Figuring out what matters for a particular task, and what the model actually needs, is a hard & unsolved problem. That's why Work IQ + Copilot is special... so I white boarded a bit how it works under the hood.

Copilot Cowork is now generally available! Over the last few months of preview in Frontier, we’ve seen you use Cowork to help with so many different tasks. We’ve also been listening closely to your feedback and with GA, we’re bringing you more improvements + new features across model choice, extensibility through plugins, browser automation, and cost management controls. Here’s a quick demo showing the latest updates in action - inspired by some of my own day-to-day tasks. You can also read more in the blog linked below...

In the last month, people have been using Copilot Cowork to do amazing things – from building inbox workflows to sales campaigns. And I’m excited to share three big updates to help you accomplish even more: 1) mobile on iOS and Android so you can delegate work from anywhere, 2) skills to help you reuse and scale how work is done and 3) new plugins + connectors to bring your data into the flow of work. I’ve been testing these updates out – here’s a quick demo of how I’ve been using mobile in my daily work.

Great to see the excitement around Copilot Cowork today. I have been using it in my own work for the past few weeks, and the best way to understand it is to see it in action. Sharing a short demo from my day to day here.

At Microsoft Build, we announced the new Work IQ APIs and they’re now generally available for you to start building with today. These APIs are designed for how agents actually work and give you direct access to the intelligence layer behind Microsoft 365. Check out this short video to learn more about how this all works - you can also read the blog below...
