🥶🥶 One Person Ruins the Trip for 190 Passengers... Yesterday, a United Airlines Boeing 767-400ER returned to Newark Liberty International Airport three hours after takeoff due to a foolish prank. One of the passengers renamed their Bluetooth headphones to the word "Bomb," which the flight crew deemed a potential security threat indicating an explosive device on board. Before deciding to turn back, the crew repeatedly asked passengers to turn off all Bluetooth devices. However, the passenger responsible failed to comply, prompting the decision to return to Newark. Upon landing, the aircraft was evacuated in an isolated area on the tarmac. Passengers were disembarked carrying only their passports and mobile phones. The aircraft and passenger luggage underwent a thorough security search. Passengers were kept on buses for an hour before being taken to the gate, where they were searched once again. To date, no confirmation has been released regarding the official actions taken against the offending passenger, who was identified as a 16-year-old.
