CM Naveen Patnaik has announced a cash award of ₹1.5 Cr for #Odisha’s star Javelin athlete #KishoreKumarJena who has clinched a silver medal at the ongoing #AsianGames at Hangzhou, China. With a personal best of 87.54m, Kishore has also qualified for the Paris Olympics. #OdishaForSports CM has assured all support for Kishore for his Olympics preparation next year. CM said that the cash award is in recognition of his stellar performance, perseverance & determination. Congratulating him, CM said that Kishore’s triumph not only reflects personal excellence but also serves as an inspiration for budding athletes across the country.
