By securing A* in a wide range of subjects from Maths and Astronomy to French and Latin, Mahnoor has not only made all of us proud but also has also set a great example for our children. During the past one decade, I have come across a number of brilliant and resilient students—from Inam Ullah—Danish School—to Malala, who are the source of great inspiration for students from different backgrounds. Had a cordial and warm meeting with President Pezeshkian Masoud Pezeshkian I thanked Iran for the visit of their Foreign Minister and expressions of concern over recent developments in South Asia. I reaffirmed Pakistan’s continued commitment to enhancing bilateral cooperation with Iran for peace, prosperity and regional stability and for the mutual benefit of peoples of both countries. We will continue to work together to deepen our bilateral ties in trade, connectivity and combating terrorism.

Attended a gracious and impressive welcome ceremony at Perdana Putra and thanked him for the warm and generous hospitality extended to me and my delegation. We held wide-ranging discussions on ways to further strengthen our historic partnership — focusing on trade and investment, climate, defence, education, and tourism. Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim’s announcement for import of halal meat worth USD 200 million is a welcome step that will further augment our engagement in this promising sector. Together, we launched the Urdu translation of his inspiring book SCRIPT, a vision of leadership built on Sustainability, Care & Compassion, Respect, Innovation, Prosperity and Trust. We also reflected on Allama Iqbal’s philosophy that the strength of a nation and the destiny of its people lie in the awakening of the self. It is through faith, effort, and perseverance that people shape their destiny. Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim and I shared our deep admiration for Allama Iqbal, whose message of faith and self-renewal continues to inspire generations across the Muslim world. We also had an in-depth exchange of views on regional and global developments, including the situation in the Middle East and South Asia and reaffirmed our shared resolve to continue working together for the peace, progress, and prosperity of our peoples.
