Love to see the GPS on that. When all else fails, pure balls & want will take the body where it needs to go. Turnovers = workrate. Serious operator is Mooney.

Back in 2022. Some laughed at Sam’s “arrogance” to say this but today, he showed, that he is certainly in that very top level of top forwards in the country. Gentleman too 👏

In todays game, Spike woulda been best pulling/volleying on the ball with his foot rather than going down on it. Once you come up, it’s always an overcarry. Do we still coach to get down on the ball to be met with 2 players & blown for overcarry?

At the start of training & 45 mins before a match, I’ll always start with a RAMP warmup. Some players sit down all day at a desk or drive long distances so starting without the ball is key imo.

Tempo runs are the key to improving our high speed running. Running at 70% & over 5.5ms = high speed running. Tempo runs can be utilised by work to rest ratio of 1:2 focusing on correct form & controlled breathing. Easy to program for all players & teams. #GAA

Wow, some bottle from Hannah to kick that. Galway be sick to have a free moved forward. Both teams pressing high up the pitch, incredible intensity.
