What Unreal is lacking in terms of Documentation, it more than makes up for with amazing Sample Projects. You can easily access these from the 'Samples' tab and I especially recommend the one called 'Content Examples'!

All characters here are using PaperZD's new skin system. This means they all share the same Animation Source, Animation Blueprint and Character Blueprint. The only thing that is different is the Skin asset, which makes updating things or adding new characters a breeze!

After 1 year of work my Unreal Engine 5 JRPG Masterclass is now completed with all 16 chapters and over 37 hours of video footage! I've been keeping this a secret, but over the last 3 months I actually drew 4 additional party members that are included as a little bonus😎

I messed around with the new beta version for PaperZD which now has support for a 'Skin' system that allow reusing the same Animation Source and Animation Blueprint. And also support for layers that make it easy to attach weapons, armor and so on. #Unreal2D
