The suspect reportedly got into a confrontation with store employee’s before attacking two customers who were seated in the outdoor patio area. Here’s the deal: Shining a laser at an aircraft isn’t a prank… it’s a felony. You’re looking at up to $2,000 in fines and 16 months to 3 years behind bars. That little green beam can cause pilot blindness, major distraction, and put everyone in the air (and on the ground) at serious risk. Moral of the story: if you see a helicopter, wave… don’t try to land it with a laser. 🎥CHP/#Westminister

🚨 Los Angeles, let’s have an honest conversation. I’ll be the first to say it. There are bad cops. They exist. They should be held accountable. Nobody wearing a badge should be above the law. But don’t let the actions of a few erase the reality of the many. Last night near Avalon Blvd. & 51st St., officers were hit with bottles as repeated “Officer needs help” calls came over the radio. You can hate the badge. You can criticize the profession. You can demand accountability. But attacking the men and women who are responding to calls for help is not a statement. It’s not courage. It’s not justice. It’s fucking ridiculous.
