Thank you Melissa Lantsman for presenting e4507 to recognize #Hinduphobia in House of Commons and asking for Govt response. We look forward for Govt to give equal protection to all Canadian Hindus so that we feel safe and practice our faith. Please add #Hinduphobia in Anti-racism policy. Gratitude to Hindus, Hindu temples organizations and our allies across Canada - our E-Petition E-4507 in the House of Commons to Recognize #Hinduphobia has received 25,794 signatures. As a testimony of #UnitedHinduCanadians, our followup letter to all MPs is co-signed by 80 Hindu organizations. We are looking forward to seek bipartisan support for the civil and human rights of Canadian Hindus, a minority group representing only 2.3% of our population who have been targets of hate crimes and the misrepresentation of our faith as oppressive. Hindus ask for justice and equality before law. Its not over. Lets all continue to work together for the next steps to ensure the Govt of Canada protects Hindu Canadians and holds accountable those who harm or threaten to harm Hindus with harm. EXPLOSIVE INFORMATION: Exposing complicity of Peel Regional Police with #Khalistanis in its report on disciplinary hearing on Sgt. Harinder Sohi, a violent protester at Hindu Sabha Mandir on November 3, 2024. The report is full of misrepresentation of facts and outright lies like - officer Sohi thought he was attending a “peaceful protest”. See video below showing Sohi joining known violent Khalistani leader of SFJ, Inderjit Singh Gosal, beating the protesters. Gosal was charged by police in Sept. 2025 for carrying illegal arms, posing a risk to public. Another big lie is that Sohi was a victim of assault - see video evidence that he assaulted an unarmed young Hindu protester holding Indian flag. Third big lie is that complaints against Sohi have been manipulated from Indian Govt. - fact is Hindus leaders met with Chief Nishan Duraiappah immediately after the incident to demand a serious investigation into police misconduct and mishandling of the protest. We have been following up with Peel Police continuously and even launched complaints to LECA and Ontario Ombudsman for the delays in the disciplinary action. THESE LIES MUST BE EXPOSED and investigated!

Please see this very disturbing video of an attack on Ram Dham temple in Kitchener which has traumatised the Hindu community. On Friday 22nd Dec. at 8:30 PM an intruder entered and vandalized the temple - using a metal barricade pole he smashed items around the alter. 911 was called and Waterloo Regional Police arrested the attacker. It’s deeply concerning that police did not make an official statement to condemn this hate crime or inform the temple of the name of the attacker or investigation. Will police prosecute this incident as a hate crime?
