Definitely a blessed day. Saw her in labor went and feed another group. Went and checked her saw yellow fluid coming out so I brought her in. Went in and only had the tail in the birth canal. Pulled 4 of these in my life and this is the second one we’ve ever saved.

On a day full of hard to explain. She was never out with a ram. Then I remembered some ram lambs knocked the gate open one night and here we are.

Number 3 for the day.

Importing things is so great. Look at this little devil that’s eating up our environment like trees and grapes. This is a juvenile Spot lantern fly. Yet another result of bringing in goods that’s going to have a direct negative impact on our ecosystem.

To all the people looking at getting into the cattle business. Make sure you know what you’re getting into. It’s Sunday afternoon putting a new calf in the barn out of the rain. 44 degrees pouring rain and that’s not mud I’m walking in.

Thought we had a big issue. The calf on my left when I first checked it looked down and cold. After moving cows around in the barn to bring it in I came back to find this. Now I just need to get blood pressure back down.

I had some help unrolling hay this afternoon.

Y’all like to guess wts. What does the cow weigh and what does the calf weigh? Sorry no prizes.

The one we’ve been waiting for. Born mid day yesterday.

Doing pretty good for being born early this morning. He’s the first of three born today.

Saw my first asteroid or comet this morning.

After being up for close to 3 weeks for some of them it’s melted enough to turn out. Calves don’t care where they run they just want to run.

We have an over achiever this evening. Number one is laying in the back. Number 2 is standing up and number 3 is in the front

Had a 5 ewe lamb day. The black and white is only an hour old or less.
