Here’s my conversation with Christopher Nolan about The Odyssey. He also talks about the custom lens he modified for The Dark Knight that became a high-demand tool for filmmakers like J.J. Abrams and Zack Snyder. Finally, he reflects on his collaboration with David Keighley, who was the person that taught Nolan about IMAX cameras and made him sit down with Kodak. David is the reason filmmakers can still shoot on film.

Like so many of you, I love Stanley Kubrick’s work. He’s responsible for some of my all-time favorite films. I also love The Criterion Collection Collection. I’ve been buying their discs for decades because they consistently release the best possible versions of movies. Which brings us to today. This week, Criterion is releasing an INCREDIBLE box set: The Complete Kubrick. The 30-disc collection features all 13 of Kubrick’s films, plus three shorts, all restored in 4K. It also includes the original soundtracks alongside restored and remastered 5.1 mixes, plus more than 25 hours of interviews, documentaries, and behind-the-scenes material. I’ve had the set for the past few weeks and it’s exceptional. The movies have never looked and sounded better. I’m still not even a small fraction of the way through the set due to how much is included. I honestly never thought we’d get a collection featuring every Stanley Kubrick film restored in 4K, but here we are. If you’re a fan of Kubrick or physical media, this is an absolute must own set. I want to give a huge THANK YOU to Criterion for sending me this incredible collection and for continuing to champion physical media with releases of this quality. Spoke with Kevin Feige about Doctor Doom, Avengers: Doomsday, and Ghost Rider after Marvel Studios' SDCC Hall H panel. Also, Feige is a *HUGE* Star Wars fan, and he’s already seen Shawn Levy’s Star Wars: Starfighter. So when he says the movie is awesome, I believe him. Collider

Hello from London. Did a set visit yesterday and on my way to Annecy tomorrow. Can’t say what movie it was until the studio lifts the embargo, but want to give a huge thank you to everyone that made yesterday possible. Unlike most set visits, this was a Collider exclusive and I was able to shoot some behind the scenes videos that’ll run closer to release next year.
