#CycloneMontha Brings Heavy Rains - GHMC & HYDRAA Commissioners on Ground !! Amid continuous downpours triggered by #CycloneMontha, GHMC Commissioner R.V. Karnan, IAS, and HYDRAA Commissioner A.V. Ranganath, IPS inspected Lakdikapul, Masab Tank, and nearby areas where water stagnation was reported, closely checking the nala flow and storm-water movement to prevent further waterlogging. 🔹Directed officials to ensure free flow in nalas and quick removal of blockages 🔹Emphasized smooth traffic flow across major junctions 🔹Instructed to expedite pipe-laying and desilting works near Mahaveer Hospital–Mehdi Function Hall stretch Commissioner R.V. Karnan said that GHMC field teams are on duty round-the-clock to clear stagnation points and restore normalcy. Hon’ble Chief Minister Sri Anumula Revanth Reddy Garu to Inaugurate PJR Flyover The PJR (P. Janardhan Reddy) Flyover, connecting Kondapur to Gachibowli, will be inaugurated by the Hon’ble Chief Minister Sri Anumula Revanth Reddy Garu on 28th June 2025. As a tribute to the renowned political leader and public servant, the late Sri P. Janardhan Reddy Garu, the Hon’ble CM has proposed naming the structure as the "PJR Flyover". GHMC Commissioner Sri R.V. Karnan has instructed Zonal and Circle officials to ensure the timely completion of all pending works, including painting and beautification, prior to the inauguration. This key infrastructure project is expected to significantly ease traffic congestion and provide commuters with a smoother, faster travel experience.
