Quick #dmb Jakeover update: Dave during the Encore advised that he won't see Jake Renick Simpson for a little while. This is likely due to Jake having to play w/ Lukas at FloydFest on Sunday in Virginia. This would rule him out for the Hartford show tomorrow.

There are 3 #dmb tour stops that are locks for a summer tour: Deer Creek, Alpine, & The Gorge The last 2 years have taught us any other venue can be cut. 1st 25 years they went above and beyond to tour everywhere. Since then they still tour more than most despite some changes 1/

Some cities got a show back. Some states got 0 shows for the 1st time in decades and that’s tough. But this dude has got on stage for 34 years straight for the fans. Last wk he played thru the flu. If he wants to play less shows he doesn’t owe us an explanation.

The fanbase wants 🎻 & nothing has changed Dave’s mind about this need by the fans to have a full time 🎻 player. But the #dmb Holmdel show during Jason Crosby’s guest 🎻 spot may have left an impact on the band better than any fan request for having 🎻 back ever could.
