A triple holed Hagstone!! This stone is made of shale and these particular holes have been drilled by Piddocks (Pholadidae). Marine bivalves that bore protective burrows through specific stone types. County Clare, Ireland.

A Concretion that has eroded from the shale layers in the Cliffs and then been polished smooth by the sand and Atlantic waves. County Clare, Ireland.

A Giant Seafoam Snow globe. Big seas following Storm Isha and Storm Jocelyn have whipped the sea and seaweed along the coast into a froth. The mix of waves and onshore wind blows the foam up the cliff faces, putting on this show. Cliffs of Moher, County Clare, Ireland.
