I've just come from the Dentist's. I need a crown fitted to save my tooth. It's going to cost £320, which is more than one month's PIP. Under Labour’s proposed Disability Benefit Cuts, I lose my PIP altogether, and my ability to afford NHS Dentristry. I have a Disability that stops me from working. Taking away my PIP doesn't put me into work.

Hi. My name's Sam. I've had long COVID for nearly 5 years now. I've had to leave the family get together Christmas party, because I'm upset. I'm trying to calm down. Just before we got to the party, I went to put on my FFP3 mask that I'm wearing now to protect myself from airborne viruses. My wife's face, the rage, the condemnation because I'm doing something that makes me look out of place, makes me look from her point of view, completely fucking deranged. When it's the most sensible thing in the world to protect yourself from airborne viruses when there's so many of them going around. It's unbelievable.

Hi, my name is Sam. I am 51. I have been disabled with #LongCovid for 4 and a half years. I have made a video about how the Labour Party's language around Economic Inactivity has made me feel worthless. I am in tears in this video, which is very rare for me, an autistic person. It's a video about neglect.

Rachel Reeves should resign. I'm Furious. Red Tory Gammon Burger and shit economist Rachel Reeves still thinks it's okay to take free Sabrina Carpenter tickets. These Carpenter tickets, what, £400? That's more than one month's PIP for me. It's not about whether she needs to go in a special box to see a concert because she's the Chancellor of the Exchequer. It's about the fact that she can afford to pay to have tickets in a special box to see Sabrina Carpenter in the first place. Doesn't she get it? She's rich, and she's sacking 50,000 civil servants, and she's levying £5,000,000,000 of disability benefit cuts on the poorest and most vulnerable in society, and she's living life on the hog. It's absolutely disgusting. Rachel Reeves should resign.

Listen up: Lifting the two-child benefit cap would grow the economy. Labour paying out the £23bn in unclaimed benefits would grow the economy. Unlike money paid to billionaires or banks in tax breaks, all benefit money is spent in the UK economy. Almost all benefit payments are spent in the local economy. Lifting people out of poverty decreases pressure on the NHS, too, and reduces the need for food banks and baby banks so people don't need to donate to them. Win-Win.

Hi. My name is Sam Williams. I'm a disabled person. I'm autistic. I've had long COVID for five years. I've got PIP. It was a huge struggle to apply for and to get PIP. It's designed to be really, really hard. It's designed to put people off. The Labour government has just announced £6,000,000,000 of cuts to disability benefit, including PIP. This is going to drive people like myself to despair, to suicide. This, is gonna kill people. I wanted to read a bit of a speech from John Stuart Mill. Some of you will be familiar with some of the words. It was made in 1867. Since every country stands in numerous and various relations with the other countries of the world and many our own among the number exercise actual authority over some of these a knowledge of the established rules of international morality is essential to the duty of every nation and therefore of every person in it who helps to make up the nation and whose voice and feeling form a part of what is called public opinion. Let not anyone pacify his conscience by the delusion that he can do no harm if he takes no part and forms no opinion. Bad men need nothing more to compass their ends than that good men should look on and do nothing. He is not a good man who without a protest allows wrong to be committed in his name and with the means which he helps to supply because he will not trouble himself to use his mind on the subject. It depends on the habit of attending to and looking into public transactions and on the degree of information and solid judgment respecting them that exists in the community, whether the conduct of the nation as a nation both within itself and towards others shall be selfish, corrupt, and tyrannical, or rational and enlightened, just, and noble. Well, the Labour government has clearly shown itself to be selfish, corrupt, and tyrannical. Please don't be a bystander while this happens. Please make your feelings known that you do not approve of £6,000,000,000 of cuts punching down on the most vulnerable, the poor, and disabled. Stand up and tell Labour this is wrong.
