24 year-old FREE AGENT Thomas Bruss stopped by Tread Athletics and threw an electric pen. Thomas has made some huge adjustments to his arsenal this off-season and it's all starting to come together. He was already a flamethrower when he signed up, but has raised the floor and is now effortlessly sitting 97 in indoor pens. He topped 99 in this one and will easily run it up over 100 in games this season. He shows great feel for his splitter and has totally revamped his slider to a nasty gyro after chasing sweep for a while. My guy Andrew Ronne is an undrafted free agent seeking affiliate opportunities! Ronne had a breakout season this year for ETSU Baseball , posting a 2.67 ERA with a K/9 of 10. I think this man would kill it professional baseball. His fastball topped out at 97.4 mph this year and sat around 94 mph. He can make the ball move any direction he wants with good velo. He has the rare ability to throw a true sweeper with 15" of HB and ALSO can throw the "death ball" curve, averaging -16" IVB and -3 HB. The four seam is cut-ride and he also has a true sinker. There aren't many people that can have success with a north/south attack AND an east/west attack like Mr. Ronne can. Weird is good. You can catch Mr. Ronne in the MLB Draft League for the rest of the summer. DM for more info!
