UPDATE from police on the Eden Prairie shots fired: Police detained 4 suspects At approximately 8:45 p.m. Monday, Oct. 5, Eden Prairie Police responded to a report of shots fired at the Speedway gas station, 16425 W. 78th Street. There were no injuries and four individuals have been detained in connection with the incident. Police remain on scene and are investigating. Additional information will be provided as it becomes available.

Crime Watch received multiple reports from fairgoers Monday evening of "mobs" of Somalis trying to jump fences or rush the gates. The State Fair dispatches even warned responders of "mobs" approaching the gates. Submitted video: "Usual suspects trying to find an opening in the fence after the fair closed. Literally mobs of them right around 6 and near the bus parking lot entrance. This was just one small glimpse btw, I wasn’t quick enough for the first set of groups." Submitted 2: Minnesota State fair - grandstand show was at 3 PM today. A lot of places are stopping serving at 8 PM including Sweet Martha’s cookies. There’s a huge influx of Somalians. Entering the fair right now. Curious if this has been going on every single night or if this is specific to this evening. Why are so many entering right now with only a few hours left?" One of Governor Tim Walz's state employees took the gov's words to heart. Dylan Bryan Adams, 33, was arrested on suspicion of causing over $20,000 in damages to Teslas in Minneapolis. Formal charges are pending. We posted about the incidents a couple weeks ago when a male with a dog was observed damaging vehicles downtown Minneapolis.

There was originally reported to be a person shot at this location, but no one was found, but a body was found a few blocks away (more video coming, stay tuned). Submitted from NE Minneapolis: 8 Somali Teens Joyride in Stolen U-Haul Through NE Minneapolis – Police Hands Tied by Policy In a disturbing scene straight out of the ongoing chaos in Minneapolis, eight Somali teenagers took a stolen U-Haul truck with Arizona plates on a reckless spin through NE Minneapolis neighborhoods this evening. The truck was first spotted in the parking lot of A Chance to Grow school at 1800 2nd Street NE. Six of the teens climbed into the back cargo area while two took the driver and passenger seats. They pulled out and made a quick stop at the Hook & Ladder Apartments, then continued their erratic drive—swerving wildly across the road—to Edison High School. There, all eight exited the vehicle. One teen was seen vomiting on the boulevard, likely suffering from a concussion or severe motion sickness caused by the dangerous, out-of-control driving. Six of the juveniles then walked off toward the Central Ave Lofts at 920 24th Avenue NE, while the other two jumped back into the stolen U-Haul and drove away.

Called the police and they explained they cannot chase them, so not much they can do. The police desperately want to catch these guys and hold them accountable, but they’re prevented from doing their jobs by our idiot council and complete lack of accountability from the judicial system. The city is a joke."

Video submitted video on Sunday from the Dayton Kwik Trip. "Suspect was seen by bystanders and Kwik Trip employees going through employee & customer cars parked off in non-pump parking spots. Kwik Trip staff called the police and the suspect remained in their vehicle for 10+ mins. Rogers PD was first to arrive on scene and put the driver at gun point. Hennipen County arrived second to assist with the removal and arrest of the suspect in the vehicle. Maple Grove PD & Corcoran PD were last to respond. I did not see Dayton PD even though this is basically Dayton, MN at the border. Police did mention that the Silver Chevy Impala was stolen also. Suspect was a young male, wearing traditional Somali dress robes." ** Mukrab Ilyas Ismail, 05.08.2007-age 19, is in custody and is charged with felony auto theft.

Well this is utterly shocking and unacceptable. Kim Pleticha, Minnesota Judicial Branch Director of Public Affairs, publicly slandered and maligned Crime Watch last week during a recorded session of the Judicial Council while discussing planned updates to their social media policies. Pleticha said Crime Watch is "a biased channel designed solely to be an echo chamber of negativity." Also adding, "We are not OK with really anything they are posting." Pleticha led into this defamatory characterization of Crime Watch in a section of the video addressing "lies and misinformation" on social media. Psst Kim, if you perceive as negative public safety watchdog Crime Watch's content documenting Minnesota Judicial Branch massive public safety and fiduciary failures, that sounds like a YOU problem, and perhaps it's time for all of you to look in the mirror and do the jobs we're paying you to do.
