Beautiful ending to a perfect day at ⁦Althorp⁩ - we celebrated the 90th birthday of my father’s first cousin today: 110 people came to toast a marvellous lady. Her advice on how to get through life? “There’s no time for dithering.” Amen to that.

Grateful to ⁦Northamptonshire Fire & Rescue⁩ for tackling a blaze in an empty ⁦Althorp⁩ industrial unit this afternoon. Eyewitnesses heard bangs, & saw “youths in balaclavas” running & biking away - then saw the smoke and flames. Thankfully no one hurt, & the trees seem safe.
