2Chainz gets real about his Cybertruck. -Fast & Easy to drive -No gas station stops in dangerous areas -One of the cheapest vehicles he owns -Bulletproof Steel “I’m just telling you man, I don’t answer to the other stuff… it’s one of the most comfortable, convenient, and easy driving vehicles that I have.” Has anyone told him about FSD? 👀

Found this EV charger (an Enphase / Clipper Creek unit) in LA. It’s not possible to activate and begin charging unless you have the PHYSICAL activation key from the front desk. They keys are universal between all 5 units on site. They take your ID for the 2 minutes it takes to walk out and plug in, then you get it back when you return the key. Is this the right way to do it? Seems like a roundabout way to save charging for guests, and not strangers.

FSD 14.2 STUNS IN WINTER DRIVING! Just got done driving ~100 miles on a snowy interstate and a little suburban driving. A few notes: FSD absolutely, definitively detects snow as a separate substance from rain. As the snow began to fall, there came a point where FSD first detected the snow and immediately slowed. From then on, it drove in a *completely different profile*. Generally, V14.2 kept 40-55mph on a 70mph interstate. When driving in Sloth/Chill and you try to increase the speed profile to Standard/Hurry, the truck displays a red error saying inclement weather is preventing FSD from speeding up. Fantastic! V14.2 takes corners slow as molasses to keep traction. It does NOT shoot gaps and pull out in front of other vehicles. V14.2 waits for BIG gaps to make its merge into traffic. It is properly cautious! One instance of Red Hands occurred when it was merging into a center left turn lane. This center lane was the only lane not plowed, so either 1. it got confused with lane markings or 2. Slid sideways very slightly and got upset. On straightaways on the interstate in areas with little snow coverage, V14.2 would speed up close to the speed limit. While the roads were wet today from road treatment, I was concerned for slick & frozen areas and manually backed off on the speed. While not technically unsafe, I did this out of an abundance of caution. IMO this is a grey area between "driving safely" and "not driving how I do" lol Not much ice today. Just snow and slush. ***Tonight, 6-12 inches of fresh snow is forecasted to fall here. I'll be out at dawn tomorrow to test in worse conditions with less traffic.*** Stay tuned.

Posting for visibility— I’ve seen this issue pop up on other forums In the latest update, my truck’s drivetrain pulses and jabs the accelerator while maintaining a constant highway speed AND while battery preconditioning. It feels like an engine stuttering or misfiring. Kinda concerning lol Happens on both FSD and manual driving. Guessing this will be patched soon, but if it’s not known— now it is. Anyone else experiencing this?

You guessed it. This is “within spec”. Tesla Service compared my truck to two others on their lot and said this is a FEATURE, not a bug. My rear center headrest assembly is not only loose on its hinge and squeals when adjusted, but also gets stuck. Very confusing. Here’s how I’d expect it to operate: -Assembly should lock tightly into upright position. (It does not) -Headrest should glide smoothly and silently through its entire range of motion (it does not) -Assembly should sit firmly in the downward position without bouncing (it does not— I’d hate to hit a pothole with drinks in this) -Headrest should not move laterally on its rails (it currently is loose and moves in all directions) -All functions should be in silence (it is not) Am I being too picky, or am I missing something here?

Invisible cloaking mechanism activated 🥵 This shine is INSANE. I honestly can’t believe it. This Cybertruck didn’t look this good brand new! I finally cracked the code to removing rust specs and water spots with NO streaking (no windex needed!) My waxing process: 1. Clean the truck as usual 2. Rinse a panel 3. Apply Bar Keepers Friend (put some effort into it) 4. Rinse the panel 5. Wash the panel with warm soapy water (car wash soap) 6. Rinse the panel again 7. Repeat Steps 2-6 for each panel 8. Dry the entire truck once done ✅ The Bar Keeper’s Friend (BKF) is a micro-abrasive, so it shouldn’t be used often. This is the second time in a year of ownership that I’ve done it. Once a year is probably enough. I’ll put a couple before/afters in the replies.

I get this question every time I post about my sled. “Why not buy an electric snowmobile!?” I’ll tell you why: 1. The range sucks Nomad does 60 miles at 100%, and the Skidoo does 19 miles. Yesterday I did 127 miles. That will not work. 2. They’re way too expensive Not interested in pouring $25k into a vehicle I get to use only 2-3 times a year. That goes for gas and electric alike. The new Polaris and Skidoo models are insane 3. Charging network is practically non existent You use the same CCS units as cars. They are not located on trails themselves, nor are there many Level 2 or DCFC options in the areas I ride in. Generally speaking these EV snowmobiles are incredible platforms for homesteads, resorts, in-town runs, etc. They have their use, but long range trail riding in my area is not ideal. Why I would LOVE to use/own one: They share the same perks as EVs. Less maintenance, greater reliability, riding in silence, fast as shit. My truck could also charge it while in transport, but I bet it would cut my range in half (again lol). This all goes for electric jet skis too. I am an addict of both sports.

FSD V14.2 RIDE-ALONG in 12” OF SNOW! I didn’t think FSD could work in the snow, but I was WRONG! Testing in 12” of fresh snow on unplowed roads, FSD V14.2 is shockingly capable, courteous, and comfortable. Tesla AI absolutely COOKED with this one. Watch the full video:
