As David Vosh Ajuna R reported earlier, a source speaking on condition of anonymity claimed a Rolls-Royce arrived at the residence on the evening of Sunday, May 10, during the El Clásico match between FC Barcelona and Real Madrid. Mukono North MP-elect Abdallah Kiwanuka has stormed Mukono District tally centre after learning that a group of NRM Party youths were allegedly tampering with ballot boxes. Despite a power blackout in the area, Mr Kiwanuka has vowed to sleep at the tally centre. The suspects are said to have fled when police arrived. Mr Kiwanuka is concerned about tampering and a possible recount plot by his NRM Party rival, Ronald Kibuule's camp. "They are using the EC of Mukono to add more ticked ballots in the box so that they can claim for a recount in the courts of law. That's what is happening here at EC now," one of the electoral commission officials at the tally centre told this publication. Mr Kiwanuka of the National Unity Platform (NUP) was declared winner of the January 15, 2026 parliamentary polls with 15,017 votes, defeating former State Minister for Water, Ronald Kibuule, who polled 11,176 votes according to the district returning officer Emily Amongin. This marked Kibuule's second consecutive loss to Mr Kiwanuka. Information gathered indicates the property has separate basement levels — one designated for parking, while another lower basement reportedly contains a gym, sauna and cinema hall. The footage zooms in on investigators and security personnel moving within parts of the facility during the ongoing operation. Visible on the first floor is a red-carpeted guest reception area leading to what sources described as Among’s office space, while a third-floor section is said to have restricted access reserved exclusively for her, according to one worker at the site who requested anonymity. The residence is also fitted with an internal lift system. Beyond the main compound, the property includes an additional newly developed section that, as of May 17, was being leveled ahead of planned beautification works. UPDATE: DPP Lino Anguzu has confirmed receiving a complaint from National Unity Platform over delays in handling cases involving its supporters, whose files have remained before the General Court Martial since 2021. Anguzu said although the ODPP is preparing an official response to the NUP, it cannot investigate or prosecute cases still under the GCM unless the files are formally transferred to civilian courts. However, about five VIPPU personnel remained seated by the roadside near the main gate, with barely any movement seen in or out of the residence at the time. Among’s whereabouts remain unclear, although it is believed she remained in-house throughout yesterday's tense operation.
