In a manager you hope to find someone who can set the tone & set a daily example for everyone else in the room. Someone who can communicate & someone who understands what kind of commitment it takes to get better over 162+. This is a great time to remind Cleveland Guardians fans just what kind of human being you have leading the way. This was the last day of Stephen Vogt’s playing career. He spent it blocking baseballs before the game. I think the Guards have hit a homer here… just like Vogt did in the final AB of his career!

HOPING! 🤞If the finish line is a postseason run, try to make it as cheap as possible. Signing Framber adds the help they need WITH Skubal & gives them a frontline guy when Skubal leaves. Tigers knew they weren’t going to retain him through FA & so the gamble is hoping the dice land on $19MM & not $32MM. Otherwise you never take him to arbitration in the first place.
