🔥 How Israel‑first strategy is draining U.S. military power I lay out one of the most revealing truths of this entire Middle East conflict: America is fighting a war that Benjamin Netanyahu pushed President Trump into — and Israel is letting us take the hits. ⚠️ In this clip, I explain how Netanyahu convinced Trump that “we could go and assassinate (the Ayatollah) and that would end the war,” even though Trump himself said Operation Midnight Hammer “obliterated their nuclear program… decades it would take to recover.” And thus there was no reason to even launch the war I show how this go-to-war decision led to dead Americans and economic damage, while every Iranian missile fired at Israel was “return fire after we attacked.” — and none of it ever gave us a chance for victory, only increased cost I highlight the stunning fact that U.S. forces have used THAAD and Navy interceptors “more frequently than Israeli air defense weapons,” meaning Israel started the war — then handed the burden to us. And I warn that Israel’s military cannot sustain a “seven front war” without roping in the United States, letting Americans “fight… die… spend your money… get rid of your own inventory.” This clip exposes the core problem: an Israel‑first strategy that is draining U.S. power, destabilizing the region, and pushing both nations toward strategic collapse. On today’s Deep Dive show, U of Tehran Prof Sayed M. Marandi Seyed Mohammad Marandi made three major statements regarding the status of the war that everyone needs to b aware of — bc if time proves him right, America could b walking into a trap from which we may never escape. First, he claimed that Iran fired at the U.S. base in Jordan to *intentionally* draw a major response from President Trump. They calculate Iran can withstand all the fire we can dish but that America will run out of premium missiles before Iran does. Also, the blockade is causing significant harm to Iran and they don’t believe it’s in their interest to slowly bleed. Rather, they believe the total closure of the SoH (and the Bab al Mendeb) will soon cause major economic pain on the U.S. Second, if President Trump attacks Pickax Mountain, that is Iran’s trigger to attack energy infrastructure throughout the GCC countries, devastating energy facilities. That would almost certainly plunge the global economy into a depression. Third, Iran is on the verge of formally exiting the NPT, and already considers it a dead letter. When I asked if that occurs, would Iran run to a nuclear bomb, he would not directly answer the question, but did not deny it. Draw your own conclusions. Maybe all of the professor’s statements are just disinformation. Maybe the professor is just trying to scare the west into inaction. Maybe. But I would not bet the farm on it, because most of the things the Iran side says they will do related to war, they follow through.

Iran’s Strategy to End the War: Defeat Trump Most in the West believe that because of America's relentless bombardment, Iran is hanging by a thread, and at best hopes to hang on and outlast the U.S. According to Professor Seyed Marandi (Seyed Mohammad Marandi) from the University of Tehran, Iran has a different mindset and objective: "The Iranians believe that the best way to bring an end to the war is for Trump to be defeated." Rather than letting the Iran war drag on for months, Iran seeks a quicker resolution from this point. "When the war began... the Iranians wanted Trump to carry out a land offensive... because they thought that a land offensive would be catastrophic for the United States." Even a basic analysis of the geography of the western half of Iran shows that it would be near suicide for any land force to try and maneuver through multiple mountain ranges. The defender would have all the decisive advantages in such an engagement. Marandi explains the Iranians would welcome a ground offensive because: "It would bring about a defeat" for the United States. Iran’s core goal remains clear: end the Middle East conflict "in a way where no one ever again thinks about attacking Iran." 📊 Trump’s Iran Reversal: The Poll That Changed Everything Trump’s Iran war strategy didn’t shift by accident — it was shaken by political reality and military warnings. In this clip, Robert Barnes (Robert Barnes) reveals what really happened behind the scenes: at a private Bedminster event, Trump’s most trusted pollster told him Republicans were “in big trouble for the midterms… and 2028,” and that voters viewed the Iran war, Israel, Netanyahu — and Trump himself — “very negatively.” Barnes explains that voters overwhelmingly preferred the original peace deal, with “three to one favoritism in favor of it,” and warned Trump to “course correct… stop the kinetic conflict… and return his focus to the U.S.” Inside the Situation Room, the pressure intensified. Barnes recounts how Vance got senior officials to speak plainly: “they are not in a position to defend our bases in the region.” And as intelligence showed Iran gaining real‑time targeting and U.S. interceptor performance deteriorating, Trump abruptly ordered all planned strikes “on hold.” This is the real story behind Trump’s reversal — political danger, military vulnerability, and a war strategy collapsing under its own weight. 🛑 A genuine risk the U.S. could suffer outright military defeat in Iran war I lay out a stark warning: the U.S. is burning through its offensive and defensive missile stockpiles and sleepwalking toward a strategic defeat in the Iran war. ⚠️ In this clip, I explain that Admiral Cooper’s plan to “step up air attacks” and “diminish Iran’s missile capability” is fantasy — “you’re going to use up what little of our offensive long‑range strike that we have… and then we got nothing" in return - except perhaps for a deeper loss. I show how the U.S. is fighting “with one hand tied behind our back” -- as a result of diminished arsenals (owing to our foolish decision to burn through them in pursuit of an unwinnable war) -- while Iran fights on home territory with a full arsenal of missiles and drones. I make clear that continuing this war is “insane,” and that every day of delay of making the rational decision to end the war makes it harder to reverse the damage. “There is a genuine risk of an outright military defeat" if we run so low on missiles we can't defend against even Iranian drones, much less sophisticated ballistic missiles. And I warn that the fallout extends far beyond the battlefield — from refinery destruction to global shortages in “fertilizers, helium, aluminum… gas fields, oil fields, refinement capacity.” This is the most direct assessment yet of how U.S. strategy is collapsing — and what comes next if we don’t change course. 🛑The Dangerous Trap Under “Pickaxe Mountain” Joe Kent (Joe Kent) lays out why striking Iran’s Pickaxe Mountain is a dead‑end strategy — and how Israel is using it to trap the U.S. further in an unwinnable war. ⚠️ He explains: “We can hit the surface of it… but what is that going to do for us?” Despite what Secretary of War Pete Hegseth implied at a Senate hearing on Tuesday, the U.S. in fact canNOT penetrate beneath that mountain. Trying will only further waste critical and limited strike assets. Kent warns that enriched uranium buried “beneath miles of granite” means the U.S. would have to “forever chase the uranium around Iran and continue to bomb" --and forever fail. He adds that Israel is driving this narrative: “They can fearmonger… all their talking heads go out there and say Pickaxe Mountain, Pickaxe Mountain" is where the next mythical 'nuclear weapon's program' is being hidden. And he calls the enriched‑uranium demand exactly what it is: “a poison pill to kill any negotiations” — one that risks locking America into an endless Iran war with no achievable objective. This is one of the clearest explanations yet of how U.S. strategy is being shaped — and distorted — by the setting of unattainable goals.
