Indiana State CF Carter Beck is such a fun prospect. Competition makes eval weird, but: 114.8 maxEV, 4% Z-Miss vs 92+, reverse splits, 12.3% BB - 11.6% K, dominated sliders, solid launch profile (I’d want some more AirPull), can run, rangy in CF, will do anything to make a play.

Florida RHP Liam Peterson is a weird prospect to evaluate. Uncomfortable mechanics to watch, but he throws 96 and hit 101 twice with 21” iVB (high relH). Very imposing frame. Great spin caps as a pronator (2800-2900 SL/CB). SL one of the better pitches in R1 (51% miss). More ⬇️

I think some people are prospect fatigued on UCLA SS Roch Cholowsky, but if I were a decision maker picking 1.1, you couldn’t talk me out of him. ++ field, ~4.15 HP-1B, good swing decisions & bat-to-ball, handles spin, 114 maxEV with feel to elevate/pull (48% HHPull / 14° HH LA).
