A very Cam Skattebo rep here from Cam Skattebo. The lateral agility/burst is still there IMO and only going to get better as he gets further removed from the surgery.

If Jaxson Dart misses time, the Giants should start Jameis Winston. IF they still plan to start Russell Wilson, at the VERY least, the Giants need to use Winston in the red zone. Russ is unfortunately unplayable in the red zone and has been all year. He can't see or scramble.

Am I missing something or Devonta (6) not allowed to be blocking a DB downfield like this well before Hurts throws the football?

Giants LB corps has a case to be best of my lifetime. Maybe not as top-heavy as the Antonio Pierce years (though Reese can get there) but with Jack Kelly emerging and McFadden a clear upgrade as LB3/4 to anything they've had at LB 2/3 for years, this unit is finally trending UP!

Bottom line: If your QB is going to manage a pocket like this, you have no chance to win. This was one of multiple sacks the #Giants QB walked himself into. He was always a poor pocket manager, but he has regressed. He has no feel for when to bail, how to reset, where to flow.

What ended up being a walk-off game-winning sack for Brian Burns followed by the coolest sack celebration I've seen from a Giants player since "BALLIN!" (which prob wasn't actually all that cool, but I was a teenager and I thought it was the coolest)

At one point, Abdul Carter was lined up vs. NO LT who made two of the most egregious holds -- obvious to anyone with two eyes but especially a trained back official -- on BACK TO BACK plays... and neither was flagged. I'll tally up the total for the game re: no call Carter holds

Even more infuriating on All-22 This is a LAY UP for a QB like Dak Prescott. Look at how early he anticipates/releases this throw: An 18-yard hand off. Wink Martindale would NEVER run something like this. Wink would've shut down that last drive. He did over and over in 2022.

Jaxson Dart drops an absolute dime of a football over the top to Theo Johnson in these windy, cold MetLife conditions. The anticipation (when he threw it) was there but more importantly, the footwork was much better than on his misses. One of my favorite Dart throws of the year.

Watching back all Cam Skattebo snaps from his rookie Giants season for a cut-up I'm doing later and it's crazy how often he maximizes every last yard, foot, inch. I've seen so many RBs go lateral at the end of the run here. By doing the opposite, Cam secures another 2-3 yards.

Jaxson Dart was handed the keys by this Giants staff to make presnap checks/kills as a rookie, and seemingly every time he takes advantage of that responsibility, he gets them into a big play (Bellinger vs. DEN, etc) I would HATE to bring in a coaching combo that takes it away.
