Come for what's becoming a weekly Winston-Nabers TD connection, stay for Cam Skattebo in pass protection 🤣

Just when you think you've got your run play blocked up so well and your linemen is out in space against a LB, guess who shows up to ruin that plan? Arvell Reese, with his pop on contact, shows up to ruin that plan.

As Nick Falato mentioned last night's show -- second straight week JMS didn't get a hand on a pass rusher on a screen and killed a big play. So much space ahead. Great play call. One of many bad JMS plays in pass protection from last night. Clock is ticking for him as starter.

Tough play to revisit but one helluva throw from Jaxson Dart on third 3rd and 8. Leads his TE. Puts it in a catchable spot. Poise in the pocket has never been an issue for Dart & he keeps his eyes downfield rather than down at the pass rush. You need that to succeed in the NFL.

Hint of that trademark Malik Nabers post-catch burst on this play (which looked very much like the rookie 2024 Daboll designs to get Nabers the ball with a run way)... It's coming, Giants fans.

Am I missing something or Devonta (6) not allowed to be blocking a DB downfield like this well before Hurts throws the football?

You can almost see Jaxson Dart doing the math in his head as he looks right, back to his left, then quickly back right when he realizes where the safety is and what it means: Fields has a 1-on-1. Despite getting hit, he nearly makes this throw on time for a big one. 6 to 88 🔜

Soon-to-be Giants fan favorite Jack Kelly dogwalks the blocking back into the QB. This sack belongs to you, Jack.

A very Cam Skattebo rep here from Cam Skattebo. The lateral agility/burst is still there IMO and only going to get better as he gets further removed from the surgery.

Bottom line: If your QB is going to manage a pocket like this, you have no chance to win. This was one of multiple sacks the #Giants QB walked himself into. He was always a poor pocket manager, but he has regressed. He has no feel for when to bail, how to reset, where to flow.

At one point, Abdul Carter was lined up vs. NO LT who made two of the most egregious holds -- obvious to anyone with two eyes but especially a trained back official -- on BACK TO BACK plays... and neither was flagged. I'll tally up the total for the game re: no call Carter holds

Giants LB corps has a case to be best of my lifetime. Maybe not as top-heavy as the Antonio Pierce years (though Reese can get there) but with Jack Kelly emerging and McFadden a clear upgrade as LB3/4 to anything they've had at LB 2/3 for years, this unit is finally trending UP!

Even more infuriating on All-22 This is a LAY UP for a QB like Dak Prescott. Look at how early he anticipates/releases this throw: An 18-yard hand off. Wink Martindale would NEVER run something like this. Wink would've shut down that last drive. He did over and over in 2022.

Jaxson Dart drops an absolute dime of a football over the top to Theo Johnson in these windy, cold MetLife conditions. The anticipation (when he threw it) was there but more importantly, the footwork was much better than on his misses. One of my favorite Dart throws of the year.

Ankle flexion! Very interesting & I'm not just saying that because I'm elated to see Jaxson Dart join the ranks of Lamar and Vick in this This made me think back to his TD run in Giants Bears. The cut he makes to set up the safety, bring him inside and than rip it outside 🎯🔥🔥

Matt Nagy's best call of the game: 4th & 4. If Giants don't convert, the comeback never happens. Design creates a wide open lay up for Winston to Tracy

It's just wild to me that the Giants held this trick play in their holster all offseason only to run it -- without any hint of it coming on any tape -- and to have the defense look like they expected it to come the entire way 😂

The Commanders try to catch the Giants off guard by calling a run on 3rd & 4, and they get the look they probably hoped for, but it's no match for the individual efforts of Arvell Reese and Tremaine Edmunds. For the last decade plus I have only wished for LB play like this..

Kayvon Thibodeaux wins up the arc with an excellent first step to draw the holding penalty. No. 5 is at his best when he's rushing up the arc.

I've watched this 10X and I'm still not sure how Giants RB Cam Skattebo turned this into an 18-yard gain.

Week 5 seems like a good time for the Giants to end this Najee Harris experiment and get Tyrone Tracy Jr. the football again.

🚨BREAKING: For Jaxson Dart OROY propagandists: I cut up the drops, dropped TDs & TDs called back by penalty Notes: *85%+ on 3rd downs *If WR got two hands on - I included *Added a $ vert throw Humphrey ran like he had lead in cleats 🤔Imagine his stats with even half of these?

I was hopeful the Giants would turn the punt returner job over to Charlie Jones before Berrios injury, but now it seems all but official -- the Giants have a new return man. Cause Mr. Charlie told me so!

Giants had the lowest stuff rate (0 or fewer) AND were top-12 in runs of 4+ in Week 1 per Ryan Paganetti Some of that was scheme/blocking, but A LOT of that was Cam Skattebo. His vision, his pacing, YAC: A unique but true RB1 Had NINE individual runs of 5+ yards: here they are:

When John Harbaugh signs the dotted line to become the next Giants head coach, it's in large part because of Jaxson Dart. He reportedly went back to watch tape of Dart, Ward, Sanders, Penix. This is what a rookie Dart did against the 1 seed Broncos Vance Joseph elite defense:

The Giants could use a no cap no draft capital WR so they can use No. 5 on BPA (it’s its WR so be it) OBJ still has savvy route running and positioning to create separation & elite grip strength. Costs NOTHING. So.. why not? Here’s a cut up I did from his time with Harbaugh:

Jaxson Dart was handed the keys by this Giants staff to make presnap checks/kills as a rookie, and seemingly every time he takes advantage of that responsibility, he gets them into a big play (Bellinger vs. DEN, etc) I would HATE to bring in a coaching combo that takes it away.

Joe Burrow is the best deep ball passer in the NFL. What he lacks in velocity, he makes up for in anticipation, ball placement & touch. Watch his FEET. The footwork is impeccable. Repeatable. A true joy to watch. 6.5 minutes of dimes, no filler ⤵️ #Bengals
