A few extra trees and more seats. New lighting. Temple Bar Square looking marginally better now. A few finishing touches still left. The sun obviously helps! The redevelopment won’t win any design awards though. It’s still a bit of a wasted opportunity sadly.

Great fireworks 🎇 display down by Dún Laoghaire harbour this evening. Would love to see something like this in the city centre for midnight. Well done to Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council for organising. Was really well managed. And Happy New Year everyone!

The 2nd phase of the Dún Laoghaire Baths works are almost complete! It connects the redeveloped Baths to the east pier with a nice accessible walkway. It looks great. I think it’s the first time in my 10 years living here that there’s been no hoarding or construction works here.
