A new data center proposal was discussed in Taylor, TX ( a pretty conservative place ) last night. Its a model Greg Abbott datacenter in that its 'bringing its own power'. Unfortunately, the room was still overflowing with people protesting it. Turns out, the only thing people want to live next to less than a datacenter, is a datacenter that is also a natural gas power plant 😂 The pro-data center side really needs to go back to the drawing board on this. Something like Vivek is proposing where you pay neighbors is probably the way.

Talarico just challenged Paxton to a debate on Fox News with Bret Baier as moderator Honestly , I think he should accept this, Talarico is a bit overconfident here , would be easy to highlight his numerous problems in the debate

DEI is being put into every Austin city department The watershed department (the guys who work on projects to prevent flooding) presented yesterday. Instead of prioritizing work by 'worst problem first', they now use equity, community health, and 'lived experiences' of neighborhoods to decide what projects to do 👀

Austin councilman Velasquez says that an audit (Prop I) would have SEVERE disparate impact on city employees Wouldn't the impact only be severe though if the auditor finds severe fraud, waste, and abuse going on? 🤔

This week, Talarico says he stood up to Biden on the border, when pressed on when, he says in a 2022 speech. He is likely referring to this speech quoted below which doesn't mention the border at all and actually stands up to Biden from the LEFT, saying he should end the filibuster and impeach supreme court justices 🤣
