I DON’T THINK PEOPLE REALIZE HOW MASSIVE THIS IS YET Hugging Face and Pollen Robotics just released Microduck. It is a new legged robot for $399. It passed $1 million in sales in under SEVEN hours 🤯 The hardware packs 15 actuators, a camera, and LiDAR into a 25 cm frame. It weighs under 800 grams and runs for about an hour on a single charge. Out of the box, it can > walk > roller-skate > pick up objects > recover from falls .. and so much more! You can drive the 7 shipped policies from the first boot using a gamepad. But the real hook is the training stack. The software is entirely open: → MuJoCo simulation and PPO training → 50 Hz onboard policy loop → Browser simulator included alongside hardware → Full control stack available on GitHub The mechanical and electronic design files are still proprietary. But don’t let the cute robotic duck fool you. Under the closed chassis is a FULLY OPEN-SOURCE, hackable brain you can experiment with and build on. Repo in 🧵↓

THIS CAME OUT WAY TOO GOOD NOT TO TURN INTO A TUTORIAL The whole video was made with Pexo, and the workflow is honestly pretty slick. Instead of endlessly tweaking prompts and hoping for a better result, you can just work through the idea with it conversationally. Then it starts putting the whole thing together: > builds the storyboard first > lets you tweak individual scenes > fixes specific parts without rerendering everything That makes the process feel way less random and much more like actually directing the video. If you’ve been curious about Pexo, the tutorial below walks through the full thing. Watch to the end, then check the replies for the finished video 👇

🚨 Karpathy was right. He warned that 90% of AI advice dies in 6 months. spoiler: most tools will not even survive 90 days. this guy is literally giving away the exact 2026 playbook for AI Agents. he covers what to learn, what to build, and what to skip 👀 ↓ read this today

An open-source alternative to Palantir Foundry is here. And it looks seriously exciting! Meet Helix Foundry! It connects your databases, APIs, files, and services like Stripe into a company ontology: a graph linking customers, transactions, users, and other business entities. You can query it, explore those relationships, and ask questions using AI, with answers backed by executed SQL. Under the hood: → HelixDB stores the ontology → S3-compatible storage holds data snapshots → DuckDB transforms and analyzes the data Very excited to see this kind of tooling go open source. If you use Cursor for coding, Claude Code for debugging, and local agents for automation, you almost certainly have a context problem. Every tool acts like an isolated employee. One assistant forgets what the other just learned. The biggest bottleneck in multi-agent workflows right now isn’t reasoning. It’s collective amnesia, combined with zero communication between agents. Memmy just launched a smart fix for this: a local, cross-agent memory layer. Instead of re-pasting your context everywhere, Memmy gives your stack a shared memory hub: → accumulate knowledge once, then use it across Cursor, Codex, and OpenClaw → automatically scan and import your existing agent history, so you don’t have to start from zero → keep your memory local, while model usage depends on your chosen provider or BYOK setup And it isn’t just a memory plugin. It’s a complete personal AI runtime with both MCP and a CLI. Memmy officially launched on Product Hunt, and the team is giving early users experiencing context fragmentation a free trial with 2M GPT tokens. Check it out and support the team with an upvote: → Best part? It’s also open-source for devs who want to build their own agents 🔥 Repo in 🧵↓

🚨 ANOTHER MASTERCLASS FROM Grant Sanderson The compressibility of language isn’t just a math curiosity, it’s the hidden engine behind every LLM you use. Grant’s new video reframes Shannon’s entropy through one elegant lens: Prediction IS compression. → The better you predict the next word, the fewer bits you need to store it → Shannon measured English at ~1 bit per character: astonishingly compressible → This is exactly what GPT-style models optimize → Intelligence, in this framing, is compression FUN FACT: Von Neumann told Shannon to name it “entropy” because nobody truly understands it anyway 😄 Decades later, that same concept became the bedrock of modern AI. 🚨 Anthropic just dropped its 🦞 OpenClaw🦞 competitor Meet Dispatch. A new research preview in Claude Cowork that completely changes how you interact with AI. Here’s how it works: 1️⃣ Pairs your phone to a persistent Claude session on your desktop 2️⃣ Message tasks on the go, come back to finished work 3️⃣ Executes code in a secure, local sandbox Your files stay 100% local and private, and Claude asks for your approval before touching anything Sure, the desktop needs to stay on, but the flexibility is insane. Rolling out now to Max users (Pro coming soon). Time to pair that phone! 👀

NVIDIA just removed one of the biggest friction points in Voice AI. PersonaPlex-7B is an open-source, full-duplex conversational model. Free, open source (MIT), with open model weights on Hugging Face 🤗 Links to repo and weights in 🧵↓ The traditional ASR → LLM → TTS pipeline forces rigid turn-taking. It’s efficient, but it never feels natural. PersonaPlex-7B changes that. This NVIDIA model can listen and speak at the same time. It runs directly on continuous audio tokens with a dual-stream transformer, generating text and audio in parallel instead of passing control between components. That unlocks: → instant back-channel responses → interruptions that feel human → real conversational rhythm Persona control is fully zero-shot! If you’re building low-latency assistants or support agents, this is a big step forward 🔥

🚨 Grant Sanderson DID IT AGAIN Language compressibility is not just a neat math trick: it is the core engine of modern LLMs. Grant's latest video boils Shannon's entropy down to a single, powerful idea: Prediction IS compression. → Predict the next word better, use fewer bits to store it → Shannon found English is astonishingly compressible (~1 bit per character) → This is the exact mechanism GPT models run on → Under this framing, intelligence equals compression FUN FACT: Von Neumann told Shannon to use the term "entropy" because no one really understands it. Today, it powers the AI revolution. Deep-dive resources in the 🧵↓
