Climate science may have made a BIG mistake! New research using the most comprehensive global dataset yet on biological nitrogen fixation suggests that one of the climate system’s most reassuring assumptions — the idea that rising CO₂ will significantly boost plant growth and help absorb our emissions — may have been significantly overstated.
