Update: Working Fire - 700 Block of 8th Street SE Fire on second floor of mixed use structure with extension to adjacent buildings. Units working to contain and extinguish fire. No injuries to report at this time.

UPDATE: Box alarm 1700 Bl. Tobias Dr. SE A parked Ice Cream truck was fully engulfed. Quickly extinguished. No extension. No injuries. Fire investigators in route.

Update fully involved bus 9th St tunnel. Attacking fire with foam unit. Water supply has been established. No initial report of injuries. Civilians and vehicles that were in tunnel have been evacuated. Media staging in the 800 block C St SW. Access off 7th St SW. #DCsBravest

Update vehicle into water Arlington Memorial Bridge. 1 individual from submerged vehicle brought to shore & receiving advanced life support. 2nd vehicle involved on bridge & 2 patients transported with minor injuries. Joint effort with DC Police Department Harbor Unit & USPPNEWS. #DCsBravest

Vehicle into Potomac River beneath the Arlington Memorial bridge. Vehicle submerged. In process of transporting divers out to scene. Vehicle came off the bridge after collision with another vehicle. #DCsBravest

A dog that became separated from its owner ended up on the rocks along the Potomac River above Key Bridge. Good samaritans brought this to the attention of authorities, and Fireboat 4 came to the rescue, retrieved the pup and returned it to the owner. Video courtesy Sheehan.

Update 2nd Alarm explosion &amp; fire 1200 block Marion Barry Ave SE. 1 building has collapsed and on fire. 2nd building damaged by explosion. We are working on protecting adjacent structures. #DCsBravest

2 Alarm Fire 1300 block H St NE. Considerable fire on arrival roof 3 story building with some extension to adjacent structure. Aggressive firefighting efforts have knocked down the fire. Working to cut off any further extension. No injuries reported. #DCsBravest

Update 2 Alarm Fire 1400 block Chapin St NW. aggressive interior attack in progress on fire top floor & attic. 2 victims rescued & transported to hospitals, 1 serious & 1 critical. Additional residents removed via aerial ladder. Approx 20 units & 100 personnel operating. #DCsBravest

Vehicle Fire: 4:04 pm - 4400 Block of 35th Street NW Commercial delivery vehicle fully engulfed with extension to a personal vehicle. All fire in both vehicles extinguished. One firefighter sustained minor injury and was transported to a local hospital.

Today we had a Low Titer O Whole Blood (LTOWB) Training class for our Paramedic Officers. We continue to train our more officers to administer whole blood transfusions in the field. #DCsBravest
